I wanna run to you

With my baby bump growing or as normally we say it between Max and myself as I look and more more like Kermit the frog, I tend to get into a more relaxed style. My regular formula each day is a crop top + shorts. I often wear dresses too as well as actual pants (if it's a colder day, and yes there days like that here as well, mind me, I as a bit surprised too. Spoiler: posting a colder outfit as my next post so stay tuned for Spring outfit Cancun edition). Unfortunately most of my hat collection been left at home so I am mostly switching between this hat (that gets most of the attention) and a brown hat Max wears often as well.

This is the area I really enjoy visiting a lot. It's not the closest park to me (nearest and a small one is about 100 m from any of our balconies) but it's near by as well. I personally can't wait to finally run there in the mornings! Imagine the lagoon breeze! Alas, it'll have to wait until the birth of my baby. I stopped running at my 30th week (before I ran 5-10 km 3 times a week which was recommended and approved by my ob/gyn, I did my last halfmarathon in relaxed style being almost 4 months pregnant) because my belly grew large enough to give me some balancing issues and extra weight upfront becoming a danger to my once broken back. And so I stopped running and miss it terribly. I can't wait get back on it again and build up my strength after a break. I don't know and can't predict really how long it will take me but I am positive to become a running mother in future. So far my baby workouts are daily and consist of yoga and daily laps in the pool (yes we have a pool downstairs here, talking about the advantages of the relocation, this one is, I do my best to embrace my privilege and never forget to be thankful for it). Sorry, I talk a lot about it lately but it's new to me and it's huge as well. It's hard to be sharing my thoughts with you without actually sharing my daily life.
Enjoy the weekend! And Eat that cookie if you feel like it!

I was wearing:
BeFree shorts
crop top from Dolls Kill
Fila flip flops
Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressage hat
c/o iGlassesshop glasses

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  5. This is a great casual outfit. It's great you're able to use the pool. I don't have any experience with being pregnant but I think yoga exercises are always good and taking advantage of the pool is the way to go.

    1. I agree. it's just so weird you have to change so much for the baby, it doesn't seem natural at all, like a hot fix. or may be I think that way because I never wanted to experience pregnancy at all.

  7. I adore reading your updates. Enjoy your new state and and taking a breather from your running routine. And it is a cool thing to have a swimming privilege right there next to you. More important, to use it, too! Celebrate!

  10. I've noticed a lot of moms out running with their babies in strollers. There are some really nice ones, like with full shocks on them and larger wheels to keep the little one totally comfortable and not moving around inside while you run. It's actually kind of impressive from a design standpoint. I can easily see you running with one of those kind of strollers and working your way back to running marathons again.

  11. You look great and all of those outfits are bomb. It's only temporary and after you have the baby, I'm sure you can go back to running in no time.

Dia del Taco

Would you head to the city centre to stay in the queues to eat some cheap taco, listen to mariachis and watch lucha libre for your your birthday? Because that is exactly what I happily did! It was so much fun! I was very tired after but it was So worth it. I do hope to repeat it next year because March 31st is Taco day in Mexico. I do hope to enjoy it even more next time! As it was my birthday I wanted to wear something more flashy and festive. I went with sexy skirt, basic top and my most comfortable shoes. I felt edgy and beautiful. May be a little overdressed but who cares as it was my birthday! Who said 'taco'? I was wearing: H&M skirt (yes, i still kinda shocked they made such a beautiful and well made silky perfection) Doc Marten's Cuidado con el Perro top (I wear this shop a lot, but they seem to be so cute and affordable, I found a lot of joy in buying a top once in a while) Coach bag Necklace gift from my partner long before Fossil watch (last year'

A year of my life 2.0

It's been a year since I have moved to Mexico and honestly it still feels like a dream come to true to me. I am so happy and fulfilled here, it is incredible. I am half-way scared I might jinx it. I do pray I won't. I am also very happy how my adaptation went/goes here. I thought it might be useful to many people who relocate to a very different climate and also different culture (always applies) to share some of my tips. Each of them contributed to my well being here. I feel very local here. After all they joke Mexicans are born wherever they feel like. May be it was meant for me to live here that is why I adapted so well. Anyways, here is my piece of mind: 1 Have your eyes opened. Adapt to new reality. It is not your previous home with benefits, it is completely different. Don't expect it to be like your before-home but better in each and every position. 2 People at your new place and the place itself are not "them", it is called "us" now. Start with

Pool time!

It is finally warm enough for a pool! Can't say I am a water baby but it was very nice for me. And Just look at the super cute Ada Maria in her baby bikini. Awww, my heart melted. I definitely felt like a mom-mom in my one piece swimsuit with ruffles and a huge floppy hat. I mean, isn't it what fancy pool moms looked like when I was little. I am a little shocked to realize.. I am one of them now! P.S. it is not nearly as warm today or yeasterday but I am staying hopeful for hitting the pool or a beach  very soon. I was wearing: H&M swimsuit UniqloxInes de la Fressage hat Ada Maria was wearing: Carter's bikini Have a nice day, Lyosha
