Date fit

Sometimes you have a perfect day and a perfect date. This is the outfit that covered second part of a romantic date day we had with my husband.  We started off with a short run to commute to the beach. After some time enjoying the sea and sun, we slowly made our back walking the beach right after we go to a cafe. Short coffee break, back home. Change of an outfit to what I am showing you in this post. Cute dress, headband and some makeup to enjoy a delicious meal just the two of us.  Unfortunately in the afternoon we had to add a +1 to the activities picking up our daughter from day care. We went on a walk in the park with a generous portion of ice cream. What a lovely day it was! Bonus! Imperfect beach shot of the two of us. I was wearing: Be free dress Miniso headband  Converse    Have a nice day, Lyosha

Dia de la Candelaria

One of my most beloved days a year. day when you can eat as many tamales as you want. And they will cheer you on it too. Isn't it heavenly good? At least for me tamales are. We headed to the main town square to enjoy feria of tamales and eat various versons from different regions of Mexico and even from other Latinamerican countries. It was so much fun but I'll probably skip weighting me for awhile, jeje. I wore a simple look that allowed extra space in my tummy area to accomodate all I wanted and managed to eat. My hoodies allowed me to stay warm even in the shadow.    Bonus: feria shots I was wearing: bershka skirt Befree hoodie LogOn shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Weekend approaching

This week passed in flash! wowza. I can'treally fully grasp what i wasted it for but here we are. Friday and the weekend is just around the courner. I have somuch to do, I am really excited, hopefully not going to jinx it. My favorite local market returns and all of my favorite enterpreneurs are going to be there! We are celebrating Guelaguetza in Cancun as well (wish me luck and lots of quesillo). And I also going to run in a costume run. I am so excited! Last time I ran in the costume I had tons of fun. So we'll see. And what are your plans for the weekend? The outfit I post today with photos is actually nothing more than one of my favorite dresses. I wore it have some fun at the beach. It was a lovely day on a hotter side. Needless to say, dresses are the best in such a weather. Bonus beach! I was wearing: Gucci sunnines Befree dress Miu Miu purse   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Dinosaurs

I am an adult and I love dinosaurs. Can you really expect me to miss the animatronics and dinosaurs? No way! I just had to see it with my own eyes and enjoy it the fullest. Bonus points for a very informative excursion included in the entry ticket I wore a very basic and casual look. Perfect for a day on the hotter side. A pure bliss and simplisity as well as a huge bag to fit in my whole life. I managed! And yes layering with button down shirt is comfy and cute. I definitely think my button down Jaws shirt made this outfit worthy mentioning at all. I was wearing: Pirma shoes Kemel Reina bag (I won it in lottery in my running club) Shorts Befree Top H&M Watch Fossil Hat and shirt Cuidado con el Perro earrings c/o Joopita   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Formula with a twist

I think it is a new tradition to have my photos taken when I get my dog to the spa. I do think our local Petco guys think I am a fancy lady at all times. Or am I? This time I actually only posed with my daughter but I do hope you don't mind us both Super casual but with a tiny little twist today. Do you like my outfit because while it follows my favorite winter time formula of sleeveless top (perfect to quickly add some cardigan, hoodie or a jacket), some jeans and a small purse, I added statement earrings to it. It is windy lately so I stay away from hats especially when we walk with the whole family which requires hands. Hope you are feeling fabulous! I was wearing: Etro belt befree jeans Cuidado con el Perro shoes and top Coach bag H&M earrings c/o Nordgreen watch   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Dia de los Muertos

My first Day of the Dead here. I have always wanted to travel to Mexico to enjoy this time but it never happened. Instead I just started living here. No avoiding local taditions like that. To tell the truth here the holiday more honored is not call Dia de los Muertos but instead Hanal Pixan. It has so slight differences but that's what Maya celebrate and in the Yucatan peninsula it's  all about honoring maya traditions.  We had a display of many ofrendas around as well as some food stalls, concerts, places to show off you interpretations of Catrina, sing traditional songs (for some reaason La Llorona was sang the most), dances and surely some shopping (yes I ate pan de muertos again, I can not explain why I loove it so much). We had SO much fun immersing in the traditions, I am sure we will do more when Ada Maria is a little older. October 31th we also had some Halloween celebrations here with kids trick-or-treating which was super adorable. I have never had October-November...

Classical music

If there is anything I love doing, that's listening to some classical music. I was doing it all the time in my previous home and I am excited to start on doing it again here after the move. We do still explore the possibilities and are looking for new place to find such event around us but I am positive we will have even more joy soon. This time we went to listen to some piano classics played with 4 hands (two performers, one piano). We loved it so much! All of us actually, we took our baby daughter with us. She loves listening to classical music (we call it audial pacifier) but were worried about taking her to life performance. She made it through the whole thing without sleeping or weeping, she listened! I just had to mention it in the post because if anything I am a proud parent here. To wear I chose simplicity. Jeans because we were in the new place and I wasn't sure if they are not crazy fans of freezing aircons and it also was the evening so I didn't think twice....
