The desert planet


Yesterday was such a blast I just had post it. For the first time in I don’t even what to count how long we went to the movies. If you know me well enough you already understood what movie I watched (or if you watched my instagram stories or twitter yesterday). It was the Dune movie and I loved it. I am a huge fan of the book and I was happy to watch it. It’s mostly accurate and I personally didn’t bound much with what the left off. The visuals were perfect, actors did a great job and overall it felt just as I wanted it to feel. It was 'Dune', the book, made into the movie. A little less political stuff, a little more ecological problems and a tiny shifts towards equality really played out nicely.
My outfit was a comfortable take on the weather and some chores we ran right before the movies (some eating out was involved too). It is pants weather already and even though I am not that happy about it I am ok with it. By the way, I have to admit I do like navy color but I don’t have a hat of this color and I am actually not sure if I really need it. After all, it feels monotone just like that.

    I haven't watched the Dune movie yet, nor read the books, but I'm intrigued! Hope it is available here in Australia. Or at least I might read the book first.

      You are good to go if you finished the first half of the first book (I'd recommend that). The movie is available in Australia in a month or so.

    I love neutral and solid colors, they portray simplicity. But I don’t mind wearing prints as well. At my age, however, it seems like I am more comfortable wearing the neutrals..

    I can't wait for pants weather here! We may get a fall cool front this week bringing our highs at least out of the 80s I think. I haven't been to the movies in a long time, either. But I do want to see the Dune movie since I read the book a few years ago.

      it's a book dating back from 1960s. I recommend you to read the first half before the movies, it feels like it's done for people who read it

Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint  Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy! As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). Volvo Fashion Week Moscow Thursday

The Volvo Fashion week Moscow finished and I feel a little sad about it. I"m so very happy to finally share with you Volvo Fashion Week Moscow experience! In fact  instead  of just one day announced at my blog I had a great chance to be on whole three! The first day included two shows for me. Anastasia Z. and Lena Vasilyeva.  Both collection were dreamy. The first in the timeline, Anastasia Z.,  designers  were very close and tight by temper. feminine, absolutely wearable clothes. I loved the romantic mood of collection and flowing like water materials. I also have to add the colours were very nice and calm to my eye. In fact, if I had more money I would buy it.
