Sailor Moon concert

As many other girls of my age and a little more (I grew up in Russia and everything came there years after it did in the civilazed world). I am a big fan and I do think this story of female friendship and girl power is very enriching for any girl out there. I managed to save my love to the show even growing up. When I heard about upcoming syphonic concert with Sailor Moon tunes I couldn't say no to it. I just had to get the ticket and go. And I did. And not alone either but also with my family (excluding Surak because dogs are not yet allowed in Cancun Theater). I also have to admit I shamelessly dressed up my daughter as a Sailor Warrior, Sailor Jupiter to be exact.  My own outfit is not a cosplay and it doesn't feature any elements of a fan but I did try to catch the spirit and represent it. Did I manage to do it with transperent purple top and mini-dress? I think so. I was wearing: c/o NAP lougewear dress Alena Akhmadullina top Converse Kenzo bag Versace Versus jack...

Formula with a twist

I think it is a new tradition to have my photos taken when I get my dog to the spa. I do think our local Petco guys think I am a fancy lady at all times. Or am I? This time I actually only posed with my daughter but I do hope you don't mind us both Super casual but with a tiny little twist today. Do you like my outfit because while it follows my favorite winter time formula of sleeveless top (perfect to quickly add some cardigan, hoodie or a jacket), some jeans and a small purse, I added statement earrings to it. It is windy lately so I stay away from hats especially when we walk with the whole family which requires hands. Hope you are feeling fabulous! I was wearing: Etro belt befree jeans Cuidado con el Perro shoes and top Coach bag H&M earrings c/o Nordgreen watch   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Viva Mexico!

15-16th of September is the time when the whole Mexico celebrates. It's the Mexican Independence Day. Since Ada Maria is Mexican and we live here, we couldn't pass on the opportunity to join the celebration. We danced, sang and listened to the music on the central square of Cancun and couldn't pass on the opportunity to eat our full with churros (sorry marquesitas, you're too heavy). I have to admit, even though we were already sleeping by the time of fireworks it was a memorable evening for us (and yes we didn't have it too easy to wake the next day). I was wearing: Labyrinth skit Converse shoes c/o Nordgreen watch Uniqlo Chopper top   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Effort or no effort?

I love this look. It's funny because I originally planned on something different only to notice I had a spot on my pants. Well, not much to change but scheduling some laundry time. I originally planned to shoot an outfit I was supposed to wear so I was a little bit sad it didn't happen. We had things to do anyway so I just threw an outfit to do the shores. Passing the mirror by I noticed that my outfit actually looked pretty cute. I smiled and asked my husband on his opinion. He only smiled back and said that we are doing the shoot anyway. Isn't it lovely? There is a lot about me being effortless lately. I do own my looks and I don't actually work hard to look pretty. Yes, you can still see me wearing a smile t-shirt+jeans/shorts combo oftentimes but most of the time I look as if I made an outfit (read some effort here). Also don't you have some Caribbean vibe here? I somehow get it here. A lot. There is one more thing I want to talk about today. Not actually a ...

Hachiko

I have to admit that this outfit is also very casual and it basically the same outfit I wore in the post before but with a tiny twist. I think it turned out lovely and I felt very comfortable wearing it. Big bag helped me to carry everything I needed including stuff for the baby (because I seriously hate diaper bags, they look horrible!). The shorts look and feel great and I still can't help it but remind myself I found them in the boy section in Walmart. Still feels crazy abut i do think I have to admit I wear 12 year old boy size these days. I took the photos in my personal favorite boba tea place in Cancun. Not only it's delicious, it's very geeky and stylish to be at. It is Hachiko Boba tea and the whole decor is about Hachiko the famous dog. I am also a big fan of their sweet waffles and ability to play jenga. I was wearing: Cuidado con el perro shoes, hat and top walmart pants lacoste bag c/o Nordgreen watch necklace is a gift from my parents   Have ...

Neutrals

First of all happy August! Time sure flies fast especially during the best time of the year: summer. Second of all, how's your Monday? Mine is super lazy yet I am pushing myself to operate. My Saturday was super lazy because we've been home the whole time because of the rain. It also pushed a lot of activities and fun to Sunday resulting in tons of walking and emotions. Surely after such a day all you want is to chill. How many times did I tell myself not do that and failed? Countless. Will I do that again? oh sure I will. Will I at least partly regret it? Of coarse. Lately I noticed how much more often you can see me wearing neutral white-ish colors. I like it and find it cute even though not necessarily very practical. I personally enjoy shifts and differences in my own personal style over the course of life. I don't know what affected my newly found love but I definitely see it as a part of process and a reflection of the changes my life has had. catch on that though...

Classical music

If there is anything I love doing, that's listening to some classical music. I was doing it all the time in my previous home and I am excited to start on doing it again here after the move. We do still explore the possibilities and are looking for new place to find such event around us but I am positive we will have even more joy soon. This time we went to listen to some piano classics played with 4 hands (two performers, one piano). We loved it so much! All of us actually, we took our baby daughter with us. She loves listening to classical music (we call it audial pacifier) but were worried about taking her to life performance. She made it through the whole thing without sleeping or weeping, she listened! I just had to mention it in the post because if anything I am a proud parent here. To wear I chose simplicity. Jeans because we were in the new place and I wasn't sure if they are not crazy fans of freezing aircons and it also was the evening so I didn't think twice....

Elegance and Classical Music

I really love classical music for all the emotions it brings you. I do love it that every time I come to listen to it I feel lighter, better and deeper than I was before. I do find it a big joy for myself. And yes I do feel pretty saying: I have a concert I'm going to very soon! - Cool, what club? - It's gonna be in Philharmonic. It makes me feel nerdy and yet very educated and smart. I do listen to rock music a lot and enjoy some quality time jumping and slamming next to the stage but over the last years classical music became more me. And also... I get to wear pretty clothes instead of jeans and t-shirt to be all soaked in sweat and possibly torn. This time I chose to midi dress from Maje. I love this one, it is so elegant and easy to style because it's more of a blank canvas than a piece. It also hugs my body nicely and I always feel very sexy when I wear it. I paired it with some traditional patterns of my earrings and classic Celine clutch model, this bag is vintage ...

Magic Fashion Week

I love it when people try being creative about their work. It goes for event industry as well. While I am all for traditional fashion shows showing clothes, it can be fun seeing something usual from time to time. I do enjoy it. It can be a fashion show when people show you only bags, little girls wearing gowns more appropriate for medieval fantasy TV show than actual catwalk. You name it, it can be. This time PR center Grani made a whole event filled with such collections and designers. Sadly I could only attend it one day (so I didn't see the fauns on the catwalk) but it still was a memorable experience to share with you. Anna Green makes completely handmade bags, each is unique and normally in unique repeat way just because it's an actual person who does it but unique by the idea. Elena Mur couture with gown for girls Mary Lou with floral collection. I love seeing more inclusive fashion shows these days, especially with children. It's great now anyone can feel themselve...
