Dry Shampoo vs Hat

It was not that long ago when I posted about beauty items but here I am again. Sharing my thoughts on this. I totally blame the isolation at home during spring for that because I have never been that much of beauty addict before. My own makeup and especially self care collection expanded greatly. I have to admit, I am all in! Today I want to share my latest review of Nivea dry shampoo. Thank you so much Nivea for providing me with this test material.

I have oily hair. There is nothing about it really but it gives me some complications. For example when I want to attend to any event it's normally in the evening. And I normally have to do something before that. I often worry if my hair will end up looking good at the event. I am all in for body positive, trust me but dirty hair as well as body odor is something you can and need to work on, it is not something you should just accept. Dry shampoo is a live savior to me. I gain more confidence no matter what I did before. And it also gives me extra time before washing my hair if needed. And it also can be used a tool to tame your hair, mildly but still enough at least for my straighter than straight hair. The only issue I have ever had is a slight discoloration, fading of my hair color. As I can not dye my hair it's even more obvious. I didn't like that but it was the best I could get so I ignored it. Surprisingly Nivea solved that issue with making a dry shampoo made for dark hair. It gives a little tint over your hair masking the tiny adsorbent traces. My hair look so good, so alive and so pretty! I am super happy!

On the photos I having fun imagining the moment when you to decide what gives you more confidence: wearing a hat you might not wear with your outfit otherwise or a dry shampoo with faded hair color. Fr me now the answer is simple: add a hat only if you feel like it.

P.S. if you use dry shampoo make sure do wash your hair after, it is not supposed to stay on for days.

I was wearing:
Uniqlo shirt
Monki top
Befree Jeans

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  2. I am pretty sure that both the hat and that dry shampoo looks good on you and yes, I agree that we should wash our hair after using dry shampoo. Thank you!

  3. I admit I have and use dry shampoo. It's great for mornings when you wake up late, injury (try washing your hair with injured shoulder!). It's a lifesaver some days.

  7. This is a fun post! I usually go for a hat to be honest if my hair doesn't look too great.

  8. YES! I swear by dry shampoo. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without it! Not only does it work great at home when it comes to extending the life of my hair dye (less washing = less fading) but it's also the perfect option to bring along for my many camping and hiking trips.

  9. I love winter as I get to wear a tuque so that solves my hair problems haha. I rarely use dry shampoo as I prefer baby powder for the same purpose.

  10. I tried dry shampoo once and wasn't a fan at first until I found one that really worked for my hair type. It seriously saves me sooo much time in the morning and makes my in-between wash days feel a lot smoother.

  11. Hair is never a problem to me for obvious reason. I would definitely recommend this to my wife and 3 daughters.

  12. Hair can be both a blessing and a curse. I personally struggled with my hair a lot. There is also a lot of misinformation about hair products, which make the scene even more complicated.

  13. Wow. I've heard of dry shampoo, but I never knew exactly what it does to your hair. Thanks for sharing!

  14. I am definitely a dry shampoo girl, although it does take work to find one that works well for you.

  15. I love how you pictured that - I am lucky to have dry hair that keeps it shape mostly :)

  16. I've heard of dry shampoo, but I've never tried it before. I love your outfit, you have a great sense of style. Nice review!

  17. I used to try those dry shampoo's but my hair was more greasy from them. I use baby powder , when I need to but also when is winter a hat / beanie is a better idea.

  18. I've tried dry shampoo before, and it was okay. It definitely isn't my go to product, but it was okay. I don't wear hats. Nice review, and great pics as always. :)

  24. It's an interesting read. The best is to wash hair lol but if don't have enough time then could go for dry shampoo.

  25. I can never get dry shampoo to work. My hair always looks greasier after I use it. I have tried spraying closer to my head, farther away, spraying it then letting it sit for a few before brushing. I just can't figure it out , so.... just give me the dang hat! lol or a messy bun.

  26. Love dry shampoo! It really does help!

  28. I had no idea that Nivea has dry shampoo. So, I am happy to know that they now carry one as I use dry shampoo from time to time. Thank you for sharing this.

  29. I have never actually used dry shampoo before and did not know that Nivea did one, I will have a look into this x

  30. Good idea, when you feel like it, just put the hat. Well, if you got any event, that would be awesome haha.

  31. Dry shampoo is certainly handy, however, which impact does it have on the environment? That's a very important factor for me. I'm using solid shampoo - this way, I'm avoiding plastic.

  32. As usual, a fun post! I have oily hair, too and these shampoos are great to help you skip at least a day of washing. My hair is even more oily now that it is natural (for the first time in like two decades, I stopped dying it just to remind myself what my natural hair color was) I will try Nivea dry shampoo for sure. I bet it smells great like all Nivea products.

  33. I use nivea lotion and cream, never thought of using the shampoo. I have smoothened my hair so have all the shampoo restrictions. The nivea products have a nice cool smell, thats really envious.

  34. I have never tried dry shampoo, or even considered it. I have long hair, and it can take a lot of shampoo and conditioner to make it through everything. So I wonder if dry shampoo would be a good choice, or if I would end up using too much? I'll have to give it a try and see if it works or not.

  35. Haha I'm not much for hat wearing so I opt for dry shampoo or to just pull my hair out of my face! I'm lucky though, I don't have greasy hair and can wash it twice a week and manage well! Since my hair is dyed it can't handle too frequent washing. Dry shampoo is perfect for extending it a couple extra days when needed.

  36. I like wearing hat but it is not in in India. However, I have never tried nivea Im all Loreal person but your review is good!

  38. I never tried any dry shampoo, and I am intrigue coz here in Australia it seems like it is necessary, with so many brands of dry shampoo available. Maybe I should try that brand you've used.

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
