Paseo Cancunense

I was so excited and felt like I am obliged to support the new city initiative. It is called Paseo Cancunense. They will close some of the streets in the city center for people to walk, run, bike or skate around. There also been some food stalls, kid area and such. We have has lots of fun and especially my baby who spent over an hour playing in the kid area. I am very pleased and happy to know this is turning into a regular activity. I wore a skort and comfortable everything. I completed a long run right before we headed there with my family to chill. It was lots of fun. It was a nice touch also to be given a promo t-shirt, I will probably wear it for next edition I was wearing: Laola skort H&M top/event promo shirt Lacost belt   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Feliz Hanal Pixan

Or Dia de Los Muertos or Halloween or whatever makes you happy.  We obviously celebrated it with lots of joy. We joined celebrations in the Puerto Juares part of the city. It was so pretty and we obviously enjoyed our time there a lot. The ofrendas were beautiful and the parade put smiles on our faces. Wonderful work this year again.  I wore comfy and practical clothes. We had to walk a lot because the festival occupied large territory and also use buses (provided by the city) to get to the port area. I didn’t particularly dress up but still i felt very happy and very full with tamales and pan de muerto.  Bonus I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Pirma shoes Lacoste belt Motel Rocks shirt   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Carnaval in Cancun 2023

Wow! I definitely been neglecting my blog than needed. It all started with happy moment of my trip with my sis, after I had something to catch up, some work and other... and than I got sick. If you know me personally you might know I have a tendency to be dead for while, all dramatic in bed. But it works wonders and I am usually a corpse only for a day or two tops. Long story short a lot happened and I haven't been posting as much as I am used to. I am sorry, really. Today I want to save some time and probably work towards the post stash so I have so nice well done drafts for the posts in future. And today I want to show you a very cute moment from last week, myu very first Carnaval. Surely carnaval is small in Cancun and I definitely can't say it's the best but it felt cozy and fun to me. Actually having a whatever carnival during the February is better than not having it at all so I am taking it. Despite the rain we enjoyed some smiles, dances, cute allegorical c...

Xcaret!

Probably the best and definitely biggest park of Xcaret group in Riviera Maya. I have visited Xel-ha park last year and I loved it there but Xcaret is very different. Much less packed with things to do, more of watching and walking than actual movement. But super fun anyways. Lots of animals, birds and ruins. Beautiful nature and things to learn. It is interesting that I was mostly impressed with brids there, the aviario is where I definitely left my heart. That and the cemetery. I originally wanted to snap couple of photos for my friend who's interested but ended up being caught up myself. Some random shots from the park:   As we planned to walk and move around a lot I have chosen a very simple outfit. Jeans shorts, simple polo and a bucket hat to advocate for comfort. I think I looked though, despite being focsued on comfort in so many ways (including nursing) I was wearing: H&M shorts Cuidado con el Perro hat Lacoste poli   Have a nice day, Lyosha...

Merida, part 2. Dzibilchaktun

As a huge lovers of ruins and history and old stones we couldn't possibly passed on an opportunity to visit the ruins. Dzibilchaktun was a marvel and we enjoyed the ruins of the old city so much. It added a lot that we were allowed to almost fully interact with the zone, climb up, sit on the stones and such. Too bad the cenote was closed but when it's opened we'll make sure to visit again. The place says it all really, I loved it SO much. I found it most curious that it was an actual living vibrant and kinda big city years back, ot a religious place, it was a place where people flocked to live their lives. Very fascinating! I chose a loose dress and a polo. It's very comfortable to wear, has minimal impact of local weather (if it's hotter I have move coverage but generally won't feel hot since the fit is loose; if it's colder I have longer sleeves and a tiny bit of layering. a win-win). The whole outfit looks pretty and I loved the mix. I was wearing:...
