Still can't skate


Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think?



I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that.

I was wearing:
Cuidado con el Perro top and pants
Converse shoes

      I am convinced Nightmare before Christmas is both Halloween and actual Christmas movie so merch is appropriate two times a year.

Music

Every family have traditions. Some migrate from families you come from (your parents), some migrate from your partner and his family, some take roots in your or your partner's own living while some you create by yourself as family. The latter are the most exciting. Sometimes one time deal become important because you like it so much! Sometimes, you don't really pay attention and in some time you realize - the tradition was born. I've already told you Max and I go St. Patrick's parade in Moscow every year no matter the weather (it wasn't easy this year due to cold but we went anyway). Here is one more tradition of ours. Each month we go to philharmonic mostly to listen to classical music (however it is not always that genre). Sergiev Posad trip

First trip this year. And with friends. I have visited this town many times and it's still lovely. I'd say the point of this trip was to get out of home and familiar places to enjoy something remotely like a trip. We did want to look for something distant or hard to get to or even taking a lot of time to get to. SO we have chosen Sergiev Posad. This town is closely tied with Russian Orthodox Church having tons of temples and a monastery. I highly recommend to visit it because they have a super delicious bakery inside, not a joke really. The museums were closed and it was a bit cold outside but we walked a lot anyway. And had a fine meal together. If you ask me, it is very close to perfection. As for my outfit... I wanted to keep warm, that is why it looks a lot like what I wear to walk my dogs, lol. I tried to make it all look more pretty with long scarf (I have a soft sot for it) and cute mittens.
