Merida, p1

Our first trip around Mexico as residents and as parents. I was so excited and happy to just to do it, it didn't really mean much to me how much I will be able to see and explore. We ended up spending three very wonderful days in Merida and today I want to share with you the first of them. I know it might be confusing because I have just posted about Valladolid getaway before but actually these Merida moments took place two weeks earlier. I've just had too many photos to sort and been a bit lazy here and there.
So here goes the first day. We wanted to visit the far off museum right away because I day was a day of arrival which is broken anyway. It's called Mayan World museum and it hold the largest exhibition on the history of Maya. We were super curious and motivated to visit it because we live around Maya and our curiosity is very high. The museum is amazing and totally worth your time. Bonus points from us because it held a temporary cycling exhibit. My cycling heart loved it so much.
Later on we just walked around a lot and watched the sights. Merida has a beautiful historical center filled with old buildings, tons of cute cafes and bars too. We also visited a concert, it was a blast and gave us even ore vibes, with the guitars and Mexican tunes.

I was wearing:
H&M shirt
c/o Glasseshop glasses
Levi's belt
boy shorts
Cuidado con el Perro hat and shoes

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

    1. yes but so rewarding. I think it's amazing for mental state for parents since it was a huge part of our lives before the baby. It might be a bit stressing indeed but we adjust and make it work

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda...

Sergiev Posad trip

First trip this year. And with friends. I have visited this town many times and it's still lovely. I'd say the point of this trip was to get out of home and familiar places to enjoy something remotely like a trip. We did want to look for something distant or hard to get to or even taking a lot of time to get to. SO we have chosen Sergiev Posad. This town is closely tied with Russian Orthodox Church having tons of temples and a monastery. I highly recommend to visit it because they have a super delicious bakery inside, not a joke really. The museums were closed and it was a bit cold outside but we walked a lot anyway. And had a fine meal together. If you ask me, it is very close to perfection. As for my outfit... I wanted to keep warm, that is why it looks a lot like what I wear to walk my dogs, lol. I tried to make it all look more pretty with long scarf (I have a soft sot for it) and cute mittens. But that's it really. I was wearing: H&M scarf Tommy Hilfiger b...

Music

Every family have traditions. Some migrate from families you come from (your parents), some migrate from your partner and his family, some take roots in your or your partner's own living while some you create by yourself as family. The latter are the most exciting. Sometimes one time deal become important because you like it so much! Sometimes, you don't really pay attention and in some time you realize - the tradition was born. I've already told you Max and I go St. Patrick's parade in Moscow every year no matter the weather (it wasn't easy this year due to cold but we went anyway). Here is one more tradition of ours. Each month we go to philharmonic mostly to listen to classical music (however it is not always that genre). The start of the concert this Sunday was a little late so asked Max to make my photos and they ended being this post. For such occasion it's important for me to look properly. I usually stick to dresses because they look appropriate and ...
