Make a step towards art

Late last year GES-2  was opened. It is a modern art gallery focused on performances. I loved the place for being airy and white as well as for a wonderful collection presented the day I was there. Behind my photo you can see the series of works, portraits of fellow artist in his hotel room during the Venetian film festival. Each portrait was made during one day and a new portrait was written everyday. I was impressed and charmed. There were costumes, bulky works, videos and loop videos, portraits and landscapes. I loved the series of self portrait photo works by a regular man from Iceland who loved taking photos in the harbor and on ships coming to Reykjavik from all over the world. The main highlight though is a non stop Santa Barbara filming performance, with actors and camera men. It's curious to watch it live. I think it's the part of the current collection that brings the most attention from people.
My outfit was nothing special but I am a huge fan of this vest and tend to wear it all the time. It's so cozy and yet somehow makes a statement. Docs are the best shoes when you get used to one other.

I was wearing:
H&M vest
Monki longsleeve
Levi's jeans
Doctor Marten's boots
c/o Glassesshop glasses

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  11. I'm a huge culture vulture and try to visit as many exhibitions as I can. I was really sad that the Biennial in Venice didn't take place last year - and I hope it will take place this year. Have you ever been in Venice for the Biennial? I'm sure you would love it! If you go, plan at least five days - and still, you'll have the feeling you haven't seen enough ;-)

  12. I love art, I actually love performing art more than making it. But visual art is stunning and has a lot of meanings.

  18. This exhibition intrigues me. It's not something I see every day, at least not in our country. From a distance, the things in this art gallery appear simple; but, you must look closer to appreciate them.

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

Fairy Tale, part 5. Prague

Blast! I'm starting with Max and mine photo together. As usual we have it on only one spot but the nice guy we asked to shoot us take 3 photos. here is the closest version. It's very sad to say good bye to Czech Republic again. It's my last post about this  wonderful  country this time. May be there would be more one day. Prague is very pretty and even though we have met before the Czech capital showed me some more of her  beauties . Max and I always travel on foot so that we can see more and feel more. The place I'm writing for is the Vojanovy sady as Google Maps adviced. It's in the historic center next to the Prague hrad. We found it a very calm and peaceful place. The only thing that sounded weird  to us is that there were not allowed to walk with dogs. Some  minutes  in this lovely place passed and we have found the reason The peacocks are walking freely there and we had a great joy seeing them walking in the park without any guards in the m...
