Waiting for Godot

Writing a post of yet another outfit I wore some time ago. Basically I had a many occasions all at one time so I spread it over a month. My husband and I went to the theater again. But this time wasn't regular. First of all we were play driven. We wanted to go and see this particular play without much thinking (or knowledge) of the theaters that have it. It never really happened before. And so we bought the tickets prior to the date and... completely forgot about it. Imagine 2 days prior the date my husband (who bought the tickets) got a message about the upcoming event. It took us some time to actually remember about the play. The bonus of prior booking: you can forget about it completely. Anyway, it was a huge joy to us. And we loved the play. It's very hard to write what "Waiting for Godot" is about. Because it's literally a play where who main heroes are waiting to meet Godot, a person we have a vague understanding of. And they are not even sure if he comes today or even if they wait in the right spot. They also meet other characters and talk to them to kill some time. It's basically more of what they way, how they feel and how they say what they say than actual wording or the whole story. You can question everything and see metaphor in everything.. or not. Basically the whole 'Waiting for Godot' by S. Beckett is open for you feel and interpret whatever you see fit right now. Yes, it's been over a month and I am still very much impressed.

As for my outfit... I didn't feel very inspired at first. I had a lot of dressing up to do in future so I generally kept many of good ideas for later. I went with colorful blouse (it's funny but I often end up with it when I do to the theater) and paired it with a simple dress. I felt like the blouse as is was a little too much and I wanted to tune it down. I added earrings because my husband mentioned the perfect color match. These earrings are actually a funny item. I got it long a ago on a huge sale but rarely wore it at all. Mostly because of the masks I often end up not wearing anything extra on my ears (because it's mostly always my airpods, mask and ofter glasses). But this time I do think it's the earrings that made the outfit stand out
What? Do you have different face when you watch mindbending play?
I was wearing:
Monki top
Pakerson shoes
denim dress I have a hard time remembering the brand of, hihi

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

    1. I hope you will. I think it's pointless to postpone things further, we do not know when we are back to pre-pandemic normal. plus many theaters operate on limited basis, for example in our city they can only fill up till 50% of maximum capacity.

  28. I love your outfit. We call that type of dress a "jumper" in Canada! I found Waiting for Godot a bit difficult to watch because of the heavy subject. It's definitely thought provoking!

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
