Chapeau

Chapeau is the biggest hats and accessories professional exhibition in Russia and one of the top in Europe. It's actually a lot of fun because I adore hats, both regular and super quirky. I half way and to go to hippodrome to have a reason to buy the beauties. I am also very happy they are no longer twinned with Fur exhibition because I don't really feel like supporting real fur.
The opening day was fantastic! There were many shows and many hats to enjoy. I love the way many hat designers paired with basic clothing  brands to bring the best of it. I personally find the ballet dancers the most creative for the purpose. Only one brand with lots of kids clothes (it's called KGB and they did played around the most terrifying for any post-USSR person abbreviation which is also the abbreviation you get if you use the first letter of names of the designers  and the first letter of their surname).

There also was a legacy show of Slava Zaitsev. He is a maestro of Russian Fashion, one of  the first people tried to push the style in USSR instead of unification. It is practically impossible to deny his influence over the modern day Russian fashion.

I also wore local designers that day. I chose one of my personal favorite skirts of all: it's from Maria Braslavskaya brand Labyrinth. I normally style it with white top of sort but that day I wanted to make something different. I like the way round-ish pattern of the skirt plays around with polka dots. I am still a bit cautious with my leg after a small trauma last week so I wore comfortable flats. The bag was needed t easily fit the camera inside.

I was wearing:
Maria Braslavskaya Labyrinth skirt
Longchamp bag
Porta flats
Mango top

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

    1. I think it's one of powers of fashion: you learn to enjoy looking at it as you would on art, it is not necessary to view it simply as something you would or would not want to wear

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
