Get ready for a party

We are having guests this weekend and today also. I have to admit I am excited because lately it's been all work, work and work with brief moments of relaxation which didn't feel as good as it might be because I felt beat before I could enjoy it. So I am excited to spend some time with our friends, chat a little, may be watch a movie and everything. We are not going to do anything big (we have other friends for that, to be loud and fun) but in case you have a big and noisy party situation you might want to make photos. Party at home is not always as pretty as you want it to be especially if you don't have dining planned. I have to admit I like ordering pizza if we really need to eat, all other moments we don't really eat and just enjoy ourselves with games and conversations (and that is I believe the biggest bonus of being a non-drinking person). So no matter how cute your house is often on photos it looks worse and you have a lot of unwanted parts on the display: power-cords, chairs moved, dog toys, etc. I have a quicky to make it all better and yes I have told you about it before. Think screens. It is very useful for that situation as well. For the party what do you think about brick fabric backdrop. Bricks gives me loft atmosphere and it is enjoyable at any given moment. After all if you party might enjoy loft as a style why don't you get a brick wall. Plus as a style blogger I have to admit almost each and every personal style and fashion blogger has a photo or two with a brick wall.

If classic red brick wall doesn't ring a bell why don't go for something more industrial and even more edgy, super edgy if you as me. Grey brick backdrop seams perfect to me if you are looking for something with more of a cool vibe.
If you want something more laid back but also brick try colorful options. It looks super cute and fits even more possible options. or a graffiti, graffiti is definitely on point even if you are not a graffiti person. If you go for something more classy how about old brick wall backdrop. It is an option too.
I hope you'll have best possible time and enjoy the upcoming holidays and weekend. I hope it is not too stressful and if it is share your worries with people. Anyway, drop me a line in comments: I read all.

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda...

MFD Lyosha

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha
