MBFWRussia and Global Talents Digital made new event on September 4th- 6th. It's the second time they run it and I loved the second time even more. Too bad I couldn't watch it whole but I did caught up on everything. This time there were digital presentations and fashion shows with no guests broadcasted. Designers and Specialists offer people to let go of fast fashion this year and think more of sustainability. Try recycling clothes, repurpose or even use digital options they say. It doesn't have to be boring and bad looking. It is fun fresh and modern. Let's take a look of some of items I loved the most.
Seraya (I love the designer, I couldn't avoid posting her again)
Semiletova (my major crush from last season of Global Talents Digital)
Emmy Thee (Thailand). Awesome job with making something entirely new and fresh
It's more of digital art and concept than actual fashion but why not? Made by Lila Ziyagil & Bensu Gök (Turkey)
Colorful and happy. CheCHI from Nigeria
CHUUDO YUUDO (it resembles the common phrase in Russian means someone or something alive which very wierd and amusing and totally unidentifiable). I would totally wear these accessories!
And lest but not lest for today. Comfortable, easy to wear and very fashionable. Graciela Huam from Netherlands.
Did you enjoy? Have a great weekend!
Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Very cool! I love sustainable clothing and recycling. You can't even tell!
ReplyDeleteme too! I think it is future. Future is sustainable or at least it should be
DeleteLove fashion and Emmy Thee is My absolute favorite! Love all your choices!
ReplyDeleteThe dress from CheCHI is easily my favorite! The woman wearing it is stunning. I love the sustainability focus here, because it can be really fun to repurpose or remake a piece of clothing into something really fun. Such a great focus here!
ReplyDeleteI thought of you writing this, I knew you would like the sustainability! By the way, I think CheCHI dress would lok fantastic on you!
DeleteSometimes, fashion at fashion shows is a bit overdone and doesn't seem like something you could wear in day to day life. But all of these pieces look stunning and also practical, they would be suitable for various occasions. Looks like it was a really great event!
ReplyDeletewow, I miss fashion week so much. I love the designs in this post and doesn't even look recycled. I'm always pro-sustainability too.
ReplyDeleteme too. but there is not that much time left to wait till it's there. and yes recycled doesn't have to look that way. However I think Emmy Thee used recycled materials as bigger part, making sort of huge patches, it does look sustainable and recycled if you think of it
DeleteI love the designs. It's great to see a fellow Nigerian designer take part in the fashion show.
ReplyDeleteactually there were a few more Nigerian designers. I just loved her work the most
DeleteThese are some very nice designs! Fashion week is so fun !
