Estet Fashion Week

Estet Fashion Week is yet another Fashion Week you can easily experience in Moscow. Along with Lingerie Fashion Week (I told you about it here and here) you can buy tickets to get there. If in case of lingerie it is pretty obvious what the fashion week theme is, it is not that clear with Estet Fashion Week. Estet is a name of big jewelry brand in Russia. Yes this fashion week is the place where fashion and jewelry/accessories meet creating the most creative and balanced look. I was very happy to able to attend the event during the opening day.

It started with fashion show of Makukhin, the first ever for the brand even though it has a history of thirty years. They combined more casual styles with evening semi-couture items. Followed by charming kids fashion show themed by Charlie Chaplin and skating. Kids fashion is always adorable and here you could see the huge work of stylists making bold outfits out of well known pieces by Kangoroo. Next we got to see some outerwear from Dushegreya designer. Beautiful coats with ethnic prints make a great match for often chilly Moscow weather. Final for me was a show by Aleaxndra Kozlovskaya. The designer is only 16 years old and it is not nearly a first collection. We have seen her Estet Fashion Week three years ago already. She does not only sew collection but also sells dress patterns online.

My outfit was cozy and sweet. I am positively crazy about the sweater and to wear it very often. The hat is my favorite as well: always adds a lot to the outfit.

I was wearing:
Akhmadullina dreams sweater
DKNY bag
Topshop hat
Uniqlo jeans
thrifted shoes

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. 16 years old and designing fashion! That is crazy. I could barely figure out school at 16. Unreal. I love the themes. Not sure how they come up with them but pretty cool. This gives me hope for the younger generation. Love the sweater.

  6. What a beautiful selection of outfits across many different designs. This is really fabulous. To think that this was the work of a 16 year old designer is so amazing. She clearly has a wonderful future ahead of her and I would expect fame and fortune to follow. Power to her as such a fantastic role model to many in a highly competitive industry.

  8. Hi Lyosha,

Thank you for the great review with beautiful pictures.

Russian ladies have always been very fashionable, especially nowadays when the best fashion designs of the world are accessible. I'm from St. Petersburg, Russia. Though, I emigrated almost 30 years ago. But even when I was young, we were making our own fashion designs and sew our own clothes at the school age.

This young lady, Alexandra Kozlovskaya, is very talented. I'm impressed with her entrepreneurial skills. In our competitive world, it's not easy to your name out there even if you are a genius! The fact that she is a gifted fashion designer at her age doesn't surprise me as much. Good for her!

The kids' fashion looks really cute. They are adorable in your pictures.

    All the best to you,

    ~ Julia

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
