Imatra, Finland

I have a habit of posting my past trips while I am on vacation traveling somewhere. Guess what: I am on vacation again. This time cycling around Bodensee.

This short day trip was very important to me. I was the first I taken all by myself in a long time. Sure it was exciting! I traveled solo and it made me a little nervoius too. It went awesomely and I did enjoy sometime alone with myself and little border town of Imatra.
Imatra has a long history of beautiful nature love, having a long established park area. And a beautiful waterfall turned power station which attracted (unfortunately) suicidal people for many years. Thankfully nowadays with power station working nobody jumps off the waterfall there. But there is a monument to remember those poor souls including the local dame ghost. For me it was all about the big lake, pretty rocks and the sky.
By the way, Imatra was popular with Russian Empire people during the period of Finland being a part of old Russia. In Imatra those memories are strong. The most famous building, the hotel fortress was build for Russian Empress Ekatherina's visit, there are recreational areas in the park built for Russian Emperor and his wife and there is also an attraction of huge rocks where Russian nobles wrote their names (old fashioned graffiti style) which is funny for russian person like me to read. Overall, it was a day to remember.

As it was hot I wore a short top. Jeans and shoes I needed as I knew about the park and I knew I will be tempted to explore off road. It was so worthy! By the way, do you like my photos? I used rocks and timer to make it.

And some sights not only with me:

I was wearing:
Levi's jeans
Forever 21 top
Caterpillar shoes
H&M hairpin

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda...

Sergiev Posad trip

First trip this year. And with friends. I have visited this town many times and it's still lovely. I'd say the point of this trip was to get out of home and familiar places to enjoy something remotely like a trip. We did want to look for something distant or hard to get to or even taking a lot of time to get to. SO we have chosen Sergiev Posad. This town is closely tied with Russian Orthodox Church having tons of temples and a monastery. I highly recommend to visit it because they have a super delicious bakery inside, not a joke really. The museums were closed and it was a bit cold outside but we walked a lot anyway. And had a fine meal together. If you ask me, it is very close to perfection. As for my outfit... I wanted to keep warm, that is why it looks a lot like what I wear to walk my dogs, lol. I tried to make it all look more pretty with long scarf (I have a soft sot for it) and cute mittens. But that's it really. I was wearing: H&M scarf Tommy Hilfiger b...

Music

Every family have traditions. Some migrate from families you come from (your parents), some migrate from your partner and his family, some take roots in your or your partner's own living while some you create by yourself as family. The latter are the most exciting. Sometimes one time deal become important because you like it so much! Sometimes, you don't really pay attention and in some time you realize - the tradition was born. I've already told you Max and I go St. Patrick's parade in Moscow every year no matter the weather (it wasn't easy this year due to cold but we went anyway). Here is one more tradition of ours. Each month we go to philharmonic mostly to listen to classical music (however it is not always that genre). The start of the concert this Sunday was a little late so asked Max to make my photos and they ended being this post. For such occasion it's important for me to look properly. I usually stick to dresses because they look appropriate and ...
