Tips on wearing dresses during winter

Since it’s winter and it’s cold where I live a lot of women forget about dresses and skirts. While I do agree it might be not best to wear it for long walks, especially active it does work nicely in day to day life. The only thing is to dress properly. Let me share some tips with you:
First of all wear a very warm and long coat/parka. It should be really long at at least 3/4 of your thigh.
Second of all pick longer dresses midis and maxis, the dress should definitely be long preferably something woolen or similar quality.
Third of all pick you tights/leggings wisely. It’s better to overdo than not during cold days. Also thermal clothes do the trick.
Now that you know my tricks you shouldn’t feel worried at least to try wearing dresses during this time of year. And to encourage you even more today I am going to inspire you to wear maxi dresses in my Monday inspiration post. To do so I teamed up with Berrylook women’s clothing online . I am good to show you my three favorites from the shop.

Isn’t it lovely? Very nice color, simple yet flattering silhouette (also giving me some Chinese motives) and it is definitely warm enough.

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...
