Layering with Modcloth

Who doesn’t love Modcloth?! Show me this person because I do believe this person does not exist. As you might have noticed out of my post start I do exist and deeply involve with this online shop. That’s why I was extremely happy to create three outfits I like (and would probably wear and most likely end up buying) with layering theme with undershirt, top and signature sweater. We usually have cold season till the end of March in Moscow so this theme deeply touched my heart. I tend layer and layer and layer during the winter day and nights so I’ve had a lot of fun styling it for Modcloth. I planned them to be casual so each was imaginatively pair with regular jeans. I worked to make it very different from each other choosing different styles of outfit.
I started from just picking the three layers but couldn't stop and created the whole look!
Here are my choices:

Layering

Needs a not. I planned wearing a tank top over shirt. I'm not sure of this would work with this particular shirt (due to pockets) but it's the general idea.I've added a very simple and basic cardi, finding it the best to finish the outfit.
Burgundy playful

What do I want to add here: The bodice I've chose here is for keeping warm and possibility to pull of the sweater and unbutton shirt if warm.

Layer with red

Here I love the popping bright bow detail from under top, cropped cardi over and extra cardi (which could also be used to for a street cover up. I worked my monitors best to balance shoes, bag and knitted cardi detail color, that should match.

Which one do you like the most?

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint  Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy! As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). I love them for their shape - keeping me cool during hot and warm when needed. Oh, and can I also call it my pijama pants trend pants? or not? What I also wanted to mention you are my fab set jewel...

Volvo Fashion Week Moscow Thursday

The Volvo Fashion week Moscow finished and I feel a little sad about it. I"m so very happy to finally share with you Volvo Fashion Week Moscow experience! In fact  instead  of just one day announced at my blog I had a great chance to be on whole three! The first day included two shows for me. Anastasia Z. and Lena Vasilyeva.  Both collection were dreamy. The first in the timeline, Anastasia Z.,  designers  were very close and tight by temper. feminine, absolutely wearable clothes. I loved the romantic mood of collection and flowing like water materials. I also have to add the colours were very nice and calm to my eye. In fact, if I had more money I would buy it. Lena Vasilyeva knocked my brain off. It's the 5th day after I saw the collection and I still can not clearly say how I feel about it. The collection is split up on two 'spring' and 'summer'. What I'm trying to say is: the first part of the collection is rather grim, dark and vintage but stil...
