MBFWR & NYFFF: FASHION MOVIEMENT

From 29th of March till 2d of April 2013 during 26th Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia would be the show of fashion films made with NYFFF (New York Fashion Film Festival). Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia guests would be able to see works of Romal Polansky, Rayan McKingly, Quentin Jones, Steven Meizel, Daniel Jackson (see below) inspired by fashion. 
This spring New York Fashion Film Festival announced partnership with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. The demonstration of 20 the most bright short filmswould be shown on the big screen in Manezh during the whole fashion week and special show of all the program of NYFFF  In Moscow museum of modern art on Petrovka, 2 (MMOMA) would be the real deal gift for fashion lovers. 

Film festival in New-York joined the two most popular modern genres fashion and cinema started in 2011.  In film festival program 2013 would be shown mini-films of Solve Sandsbo, Quentin Jones, Danny Sangra, Santiago and Mauricio, Steven Meyzel, Ines and Winwood and other artists, photographers and directors together with films made specially for Prada, Kenzo, Opening Ceremony, AlexanderWang, Nina Ricci.
Short Film "Terapy" of Roman Polansky (see below) with Ben Kingsley and Helena Bonem Carter starring was successfully shown in Cannes and later on NYFFF, tells us a story of pс psychiatrist obsession with Prada fur coat of his patient. You would definitely feel the aesthetic joy from watching also 'Lake' by  Pierre Debusschere (see above). For ones who love music combined with fashion - keep an eye on collaboration of Alexander Wang and South African rappers Die Antwoord, filmed by Daniel Jackson (see the first image above).

Pool time!

It is finally warm enough for a pool! Can't say I am a water baby but it was very nice for me. And Just look at the super cute Ada Maria in her baby bikini. Awww, my heart melted. I definitely felt like a mom-mom in my one piece swimsuit with ruffles and a huge floppy hat. I mean, isn't it what fancy pool moms looked like when I was little. I am a little shocked to realize.. I am one of them now! P.S. it is not nearly as warm today or yeasterday but I am staying hopeful for hitting the pool or a beach  very soon. Myshapemates Review

Yay for a new review post! I am always extra excited when I get to share with you some goodies which I personally use all the time and really enjoy. Such partnerships definitely give me most motivation in blogging giving me tons of self esteem.
