Contouring Tips for 5 Basic Face Shapes

Hi beautiful people! Currently I'm having fun on my vacation with sun, sand and sea. I bet you got my idea - I'm off the blogger world. But fortunately we have amazing people to catch up on this. Meet Renee Bertrand and his post.

Contouring Tips for 5 Basic Face Shapes
Let’s face it; very few of us are born with a face shape that will make nay make-up technique work whatsoever. Even models have to shape their face shapes, not with chiseling tools, but with the magic item in any girl’s make-up box – the contouring cream or powder. You also need your blush-on and highlighting cream to complement the entire contouring of the face.
But the same contouring method that works on someone’s face will not work on another. You need to align your contouring technique with the shape of your own face. Check out which of these face shapes is yours and what you need to do bring out the best outline of your visage.
Round Face
Have you been often remarked on the very round face of your shape and wonder what to do about it? The right contouring will definitely do the trick. You’ll need to contour mainly along the jaw line and temples, and apply blush-on under your cheekbones. The apples of the cheek, top of the forehead and bridge of the nose need to be highlighted.

Oval Face
If you’ve got an oval-shaped face, you’ll need minimal contouring because people actually contour to get the face shape you already have! Either skip the contouring altogether, or, if you want to bring some more outline to your face, contour very slightly below your cheekbones. The blush should be applied along your cheekbones, and so should the highlighter above the blush.

Long Face
For those with the long and slender face cuts, contouring has to work to cut down the lengthiness of the face. Therefore, you’ll need to contour along the hairline and jaw line, as well as at the bottom of your chin and the hollows of your cheeks. Apply the blush at the cheekbones at the apples of your cheeks, and highlight a little above from where you apply the blush.

Heart Face
For this pointy-chin face cut, bringing out the symmetry in the face is key. Contour along your hairline, along both sides of your forehead, blending along the outer part of the cheekbones. Also contour at the bottom of the chin. As for blush-on, apply it at the apple of your cheeks along the cheekbone, while highlighting down towards the jaw line.

Square Face
For this face shape, you’ll need to contour along the temples at the hairline as well as the jaw line. The blush should start at the apple of the cheeks, not over it, and blended towards the top part of the ears. Highlight at the bridge of the nose, centers of your forehead and chin, and the apples of your cheeks.

With these contouring and blush tips, there’s no reason why you can’t bring out the best features on your face. So which of these face shapes are you?

During my post about Worldwide Fashion Day in Moscow I didn't feature my own look. There've been couple of reasons for that and the main was that I've just had only one picture of me taken by lovely photographer Lyudmila Bureeva  during the event. So I need to shoot my own look properly and that's what Max and I did. Not to make this post too much of my outfit and that's it I've decided to add couple of my favourite closeups from fashion show. taken by Lyudmila Bureeva My outfit was created with a huge help from wonderful shop Choies who sponsored me and my blog provided me with this lovely dress. it's a little shorter than I expected (and I'm short in general so I'm not used to all this mini-stuff) but looks way better than I expect it to look. that's because it fitted lovely. I've  decided  to go for total velvet-like look so I paired this velvet owl dress with my old  corduroy  jacket and shoes. Thanks for everyone who made th...

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda...
