Volokolamsk trip

Remember I told you about small trip? After we ran on Sunday (my post before shared my experience and outfit) we took time to visit bigger location, town of Volokolamsk just 6 km from the start area. The town is pretty old and it has kremlin. Sounds like a must visit if you pass by! It was first mentioned as Volok Lamsky in 1135 and it was exactly what it was called: a land transfer way for boats from one river to the others. The biggest is called Lama. As simple as that. The kremlin isn’t big and original walls didn’t live up today being built of wood. You can still enjoy the moats and brisk arch/entrance followed by narrow stairs. The inner buildings are mostly churches and the museum. I’d say you’ll need an hour and a half to explore everything in the area.

I wore new jeans. I didn’t think it would such a great fit on me. I originally tried it on as a gag. Now I barely want to take it off (traded it for a dress though). I had other things to do scheduled for the day so I am all about comfort. The top I am wearing is one of my ultimate faves because of the material, it’s a rare item for me as I have it multiple (three) colors.

This post is not complete without some sights. enjoy.

This a wolf from the museum. It was the last thing you see in the museum (it's by the exit) and is super funny.

I was wearing:
Monki top
Befree jeans
Fila sneakers
Volokolamsky rubezh medal

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

    1. I knew I should post the wolf. As for architecture such roofs are not common, mostly the roofs are flat, the similar shape for roofs is mainly used for churches. That is definitely unique.

The last day of Summer was the hottest in Moscow during the whole recorded time. I didn't fully enjoy it frankly having tons of things to do. And so I did with the first day of fall as well. I kinda wished I was myself on the photos below: chilling and relaxed on a boat.
Today I don't only want to show the wonderful idea of boat style transitioning outfit but also show you my new item. So if you happen to be on a boat take a cardigan. On water even slight wind might feel colder especially when fall is right there. however it might be good to swim or sunbath so you might want to wear a bikini. Light cardigan is on to go item for such moment: just throw it right onto your swimsuit and enjoy the comfort and beauty. This purple babe is from Dear Lover. The they both wholesale and retail options so you will definitely find what suits you best. There are tons of cardigans and it is a joy! I have to admit when I feel the breath of autumn I tend to look at all the cardigans out there.…

MFW, final day: Svetlana Evstigneeva

ENG: My final day of MFW! It was my most exciting day and even a little bit of bitterness from Moscow Fashion Week coming to an end didn't spoil it all for me. The show of Svetlana Evstigneeva was so good I decided to make a separate post for it! So the post for today is fully dedicated to the most beautiful show of all MFW in my eyes. Wedding and formal dresses, charming accessories, fantastic flowers and makeup - all of that combined to bring you the best possible combo ever. I highly suggest you to just watch.

Touriste Russe about Tula

Last week I did something creative and unusual for me. I visited an exhibition tied with presentation of new issue of sport travel magazine "Touriste Russe" or "Russkiy Turist". The magazine has a very long story (it's over 100 years old) but suffered from hardships over the years. Currently the project is crowdfunded. The latest issue is dedicated to region of Tula and it is opening the series of magazines speaking closely about ways to explore the region and best routes for it. Cycling, kayaking, Nordic walking, backpacking even SAP - you name it, they have it. In fact you can definitely use the magazine as a guide to plan your perfect trip. Be you interested in nature or more urban locations you will find a lot of support there. Tula region is also very closely tied with Leo Tolstoy, the famous Russia writer so if you are interested in him I highly recommend you to visit this region (have in mind that most interesting parts are a bit scattered so save coupl…
