By the old manor

You can never guess how your photoshoot will turn out. Sometimes it works better than you hoped and you have a hard time finding the best photos to limit the post with sane number. Sometimes it works worse and you have to pick the photos you are ok with. The funny part tiny camera screen doesn't always a creditable source for photos because on the screen it sometimes looks different, better or worse. Surely taking many photos help a lot.

This photoset wasn't easy for me because it fall into "looking great on tiny screen, not that good on computer screen" category. We tried new location and basically we definitely need to work angles to actually make it work. It's the old Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo estate, unfortunately the buildings as closed off and more or less conservation, there are no plans to restore it. The place is a bit curious though, it was bought in early Romanov reign by the brother of Tzar's wife and been in hands of the family before the soviets came. It was reconstructed many times and saw a lot of balls and famous people, including rulers of Russia (several Emperors even) and writers: Tolstoy (author of 'War and Peace' and 'Anna Karenina') lived there and met his future wife and Bulgakov ('Master and Margarita') among many others. It had definitely seen better days but you can still feel the power of it even now, looking at it from the fence. The park I often take photos in was originally the garden of the estate behind me.

I really love the skirt I am wearing. It's comfortable and has pockets! It's definitely a statement piece so I tend to tune it down with some basic top and shoes but it's colorfulness always make smile. easy to wear and pop!
Bonus today:
The estate view

Super cute geese we met right next to it

I was wearing:
Labirit by Maria Braslavskaya skirt
Forever21 top
Portal shoes

Have a nice day,

The last day of Summer was the hottest in Moscow during the whole recorded time. I didn't fully enjoy it frankly having tons of things to do. And so I did with the first day of fall as well. I kinda wished I was myself on the photos below: chilling and relaxed on a boat.
Today I don't only want to show the wonderful idea of boat style transitioning outfit but also show you my new item. So if you happen to be on a boat take a cardigan. On water even slight wind might feel colder especially when fall is right there. however it might be good to swim or sunbath so you might want to wear a bikini. Light cardigan is on to go item for such moment: just throw it right onto your swimsuit and enjoy the comfort and beauty. This purple babe is from Dear Lover. The they both wholesale and retail options so you will definitely find what suits you best. There are tons of cardigans and it is a joy! I have to admit when I feel the breath of autumn I tend to look at all the cardigans out there.…

MFW, final day: Svetlana Evstigneeva

ENG: My final day of MFW! It was my most exciting day and even a little bit of bitterness from Moscow Fashion Week coming to an end didn't spoil it all for me. The show of Svetlana Evstigneeva was so good I decided to make a separate post for it! So the post for today is fully dedicated to the most beautiful show of all MFW in my eyes. Wedding and formal dresses, charming accessories, fantastic flowers and makeup - all of that combined to bring you the best possible combo ever. I highly suggest you to just watch.

Myshkin and River Cruising

I definitely needed that cruise. I feel so much better today! It was such a wonderful trip to me. The weather was good, there was a tiny bit of rain the first night but after that it was food. There even was sunny on our last purely cruising day. I think we will cruise a lot more next year, especially as there budget-friendly weekend options available. It was a three-day (starting late Friday) cruise with only one stop on a way: Myshkin. Myshkin is most likely named so not because of Mouse (which shocking for Russian speaking person having it mascot animal as mouse and even as part of coat of arms) but as letter changing from original Myskin (mys is cape in Russian). But there is also a legend of Russian ruler being saved by running mouse from poisonous snake. A lot of people believe that both stories are true. Anyway, right now Myshkin is all about mice, there are tons of jokes (for example stating both human population and approx mice population head to head), tiny monuments and the…
