By the old manor

You can never guess how your photoshoot will turn out. Sometimes it works better than you hoped and you have a hard time finding the best photos to limit the post with sane number. Sometimes it works worse and you have to pick the photos you are ok with. The funny part tiny camera screen doesn't always a creditable source for photos because on the screen it sometimes looks different, better or worse. Surely taking many photos help a lot.

This photoset wasn't easy for me because it fall into "looking great on tiny screen, not that good on computer screen" category. We tried new location and basically we definitely need to work angles to actually make it work. It's the old Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo estate, unfortunately the buildings as closed off and more or less conservation, there are no plans to restore it. The place is a bit curious though, it was bought in early Romanov reign by the brother of Tzar's wife and been in hands of the family before the soviets came. It was reconstructed many times and saw a lot of balls and famous people, including rulers of Russia (several Emperors even) and writers: Tolstoy (author of 'War and Peace' and 'Anna Karenina') lived there and met his future wife and Bulgakov ('Master and Margarita') among many others. It had definitely seen better days but you can still feel the power of it even now, looking at it from the fence. The park I often take photos in was originally the garden of the estate behind me.

I really love the skirt I am wearing. It's comfortable and has pockets! It's definitely a statement piece so I tend to tune it down with some basic top and shoes but it's colorfulness always make smile. easy to wear and pop!

Super cute geese we met right next to it

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
