MKMM


Today I want to show you some shots and impressions from one darling night. It was a final part of competition between young designers МКММ. And I have to tell you it was a blast. There were lots of corners here and there where you could find things of interest including shopping corners, make up station and lovely decor. But the most important part of the evening was situated in the main hall. The competition itself for sure. Not only the designers showed their collections but also costumes with show part. And the subject of latter wasn't easy it was about Gods and Makers. Also I was impressed by the work jury had to go through - 18 collections, 18 shows. It was hard for me and I wasn't the one responsible for competition outcome. Anyways It was a blast.
RU: Сегодня я хочу показать вам несколько снимков и поделиться моими впечатлениями об одном прекрасном вечере. Это была финальная часть соревнований молодых дизайнеров МКММ. И, если говорить коротко, это было здорово! В зале было множество уголков, где можно было приобрести разные вещи, накрасится или полюбоваться декорациями. Но, конечно, самая главная часть вечера приходилась на главный зал. Безусловно это сам конкурс. Дизайнеры не только показывали свои коллекции, но выполняли задание по разработке костюмов с элементами шоу. Темой было "Боги и Творцы". Так же меня впечатлила работа жюри - 18 коллекций, 18 шоу, которые им предстояло оценить. Мне было сложно всё это осознать, а ведь я могла просто наслаждаться! В любом случае, это было здорово!
Here are my personal favorites from the show (I took photos of everything and handpicked my favorite collections and pieces after).

As for my outfit I picked the denim dress and vintage shirt. I felt awesome and stylish in this outfit even though it's what I normally wear. Bright bag was a lot of fun as well. What do you think?
RU: Для своего образа я выбрала джинсовый сарафан (правда, на самом деле, это платье) и винтажную рубашку. Я чувствовала себя прекрасно и очень стильно в этом образе, хотя это и не то, что я обычно выбираю. Яркая сумка добавила лично мне веселости. А как вы думаете?

Uniqlo coat (sorry for wearing it too often - it's just sooo basic and nobrainer and perfect for weather)

Sergiev Posad trip

First trip this year. And with friends. I have visited this town many times and it's still lovely. I'd say the point of this trip was to get out of home and familiar places to enjoy something remotely like a trip. We did want to look for something distant or hard to get to or even taking a lot of time to get to. SO we have chosen Sergiev Posad. This town is closely tied with Russian Orthodox Church having tons of temples and a monastery. I highly recommend to visit it because they have a super delicious bakery inside, not a joke really. The museums were closed and it was a bit cold outside but we walked a lot anyway. And had a fine meal together. If you ask me, it is very close to perfection. As for my outfit... I wanted to keep warm, that is why it looks a lot like what I wear to walk my dogs, lol. I tried to make it all look more pretty with long scarf (I have a soft sot for it) and cute mittens. Sarah Bustani

Such an incredible experience! It was so much fun! They made a point by making the fashion show really creative by making the designer talk about the outfits, the ideas behind each dress, giving tips on how to style it alternately and also some general styling tips. I genuinely enjoyed her passion in sharing her experience. Also all the items were so cute! I’d wear it all How do you find the collection? Would you wear her styles?
