El Cascanueces

Is there a more Christmas-y activity than watching The Nutcracker  ballet? Most likely not. I am absolutely happy I watched it this year and also managed to stay in line with our family tradition of mandatory classic art performance visit during the holiday season. This time it was even more priceless as it is the first time as a family of three

To visit the Cancun theater for the first time (the venue is very nice) I have chosen my favorite dress. I actually think I should have worn something warmer but I do believe I was very stylish. Wrap dress is an ultimate classic for a girl
Bonus: family photos

I was wearing:
DVF dress
Celine bag

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. I have seen it once and enjoyed it. My family that was with me did not though, which made it harder to enjoy, lol. I may try to go again on my own.

  5. So I was wondering where on Earth you were to wear such a pretty yet warm weather dress for a Christmas adventure! haha, I guess that watching the Nutcracker in Cancun requires a nice summer dress! I am glad you had fun, we havent been to a ballet in a while so this may be a good reminder for me to take Darcee again...preferably in Cancun (haha)

    1. If only I told you what we call 'helades' here. Freezing cold of 20 C is unbearable, really, ask any local. But I will lie if I tell you doesn't feel festive here. Somehow I came to learn you don't need snow and cold to be soaked in Christmas spirit and smiles. Especially when people decorate more wisely and skip the snowmen.
I am very glad I reminded you about beauty of classic performance, I know Darcy will appreciate it: ballet, opera, philharmonic are perfect for a date. Don't forget to thrown some coffees after the performance.

    1. it's a very classic performance. Usually it is the first ballet for kids to see. It's set on Chrismas eve, there are toys and kids and mice wearing military uniform. The act is simple and easy to follow even without explanations which makes it perfect for little one

Such an incredible experience! It was so much fun! They made a point by making the fashion show really creative by making the designer talk about the outfits, the ideas behind each dress, giving tips on how to style it alternately and also some general styling tips. I genuinely enjoyed her passion in sharing her experience. Also all the items were so cute! I’d wear it all How do you find the collection? Would you wear her styles? Also how do you find this way of presenting the collection. It sounds like a very nice change from the regular catwalk   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Fairy tale, part 4. Prague

God, I miss that vacation! And here comes the last part of our New Years Trip. Prague! The capital the lovely city. We had so much fun there and are very grateful for what we got there. If fact we had so much fun simply walking around the city, looking for sun or place with now wind,  laughing  on no matter what and eating trndelniks (tasty sugar backed something). The day we shot my outfit was very sunny. Although a bit windy. There is not much to write about Prague - I assure you, you just have to see all with your own eyes. It's my second time in this  marvelous  city and I enjoyed it as my first time. I'm very sorry for huge amount of my outfit shots, but they are so much fun.
