It was a very good NAP

Playful. Sexy. Badass. Me. That's what this dress screams. 
I had so much fun styling it. And I am sure I will wear it a lot in future. It can be a skirt (I see several ways to make it work actually). It can be worn with a top or a shirt. I can adjust straps differently. I can add layers on top of it. I can wear it with elegant accessories. Don't you love it?

The dress runs a little too big for me so I chose a design what would work anyway (it's adjustable and I do believe the skirt being a little loose actually works better). I hoped it might run lower than the measurements and prayed it doesn't run bigger. At least for this dress it runs sharp. It's not an issues since it till looks amazing and the top is very easy to adjust to your exact needs. Might be easier with a helping hand though. However I do find it romantic when my partner helped to tie it perfectly.






P.S. we had so much fun shooting this dress (and even that moment when I realized the original bow tie didn't hold and I am slowly loosing my top, was fun not stressing)! I found it very hard to find the best photos of it for the post. I could post each.

      it is a dress indeed. I do plan to wear it as a skirt, knotting the top part as if it's a belt and as overall with t-shirt or a blouse

      I tried it but it didn't work. I never posed with my back seen it's loose around the hips a lot. I think to alter it a bit there, adding a string.

      thanks so much! to tell the truth I am tanning or something, I always use spf 50+ but I did stop on beaching my skin. I love the tone now a lot more as well.

I also love the idea of being able to take one dress and style it in so many different ways, so it doesn't feel like the same thing every time you wear it. Versatile clothes are amazing and take up less room in the closet.

So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire.
