Hello!
This week is roller-coaster! Nothing goes as planned and I have more plans than I hoped I would. Nothing is blog related but I actually don't mind it that much. But I was late with regular posting and I actually a little sad about that.
Today I want to share with you a quick throwback to Zanzibar because it is exactly where I want to be now.
This is not something new because one of the photos above is my Facebook profile picture, you might have seen it many times. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt to cover my hands. I tested different sunscreen and it worked poorly so I gave my hands some extra love for two days. The top was awesome for that: I enjoyed extra protection without suffering from extra warmth. I'd definitely trade abnormally cold Moscow with Zanzibar this instant. I miss the high and low tides, white sand and warm ocean. as well as wearing sunglasses because I need them not because I just want to wear it
And a selfie with turtle. because I just have to have one posted on my blog.
I was wearing:
c/o iGlassesshop glasses
DKNY dress
Monki top
Adidas slippers
very old and not branded hat
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
Ah!! All that sunshine full of vitamin D. Doesn't it make you feel sad. Nothing beats all that natural sunshine to lift your spirits. You wake up everyday in Zanzibar smiling.
ReplyDeleteLook at the size of that tortoise, so cute!

ReplyDeleteI miss the beach too. There's just something about them that's very mesmerizing and calming, especially when you hear the sea waves and see the sun set.
ReplyDeleteShy turtle, cute. I love sea. I would love to visit sea. I love sea actually!
ReplyDeleteI love your photos because I definitely miss the beach. How I wish we could already travel safely anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteWhoa, this looks and sounds like an AMAZING place to go to! I would love to visit here myself one day.
ReplyDeleteAnimals are so cute! Nice pics you got here!
ReplyDeleteSeems like a great place to rather be! I know I'd rather be in the condo we rent in Hawaii than home right now!
ReplyDeleteReally loving your photos! Reminds me of the time when we could still come out.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What an incredible place! Look at that tortoise!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the selfie with the tortoise! Tortoises and turtles are two of my favourite animals, I love them so much ☺️
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like a great place to visit You look gorgeous in all those photos ❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Everything Enchanting
Thats so nice place to spend the summer. But well, restriction is still on so we'd rather think how beautiful that place is. Oh, and you look so amazing in that long sleeves top
ReplyDeleteThis place is so beautiful perfect for summer trip getaway it looks you had a great trip awesome photos
ReplyDeleteThat beach is beautiful and I love that big turtle!
ReplyDeletezanzibar is a great place to visit and i am happy that you were able to explore it
ReplyDeleteI would rather be there too. It looks so magical and you look so happy!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a fantastic trip and I can understand why you'd like to visit again! I love animals and especially reptiles, so that turtle looks like a wonderful reason to go there. I'm sure there's much more wildlife to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI hear you when it comes to the sunscreen! It doesn't matter what I use, it never seems to be enough in warmer areas like that. I burned really bad (second degree burns) in Mexico despite using a high SPF sunscreen regularly, so I tend to err on the side of caution and choose longer sleeved options when I can. That top looks really comfortable and perfect for that situation!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos! I love sunshine, and breezy weather. This throwback is beautiful, and I'd love to just soak up some sun, and have my feet in the sand. Ah, sounds so nice!

I love that you still looked really happy with all the photos and that though things did not go as planned, things seem to be okay.
ReplyDeleteLife gets busy and sometimes things don't go to plan. We can only do as much as we can. Love the little throwback post.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so fun! Even though sometimes things don't go as planned, we can still try to appreciate the journey.
ReplyDeleteYou're the second blog I read about this place. Such a promising place with pristine beach.
ReplyDeleteThe serenity of that beach and that tortoise! I wonder how old it is? What a treat to get to be that close to one that big!
ReplyDeletethis one was not the oldest we got to meet. It is a little less than 100 years old. the oldest we saw (male) was 140.
DeleteWho doesn't want a selfie with a giant turtle? I'd love that myself. Lol. I can totally understand your feelings of wanting to be back there. The weather and the beach look absolutely gorgeous! We are also back being locked down, while many other parts of the country are fully open, and it is a struggle. But these pics lifted my spirit because you took me there too through them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Lyosha!! What a lovely selfie with turtle:)
