I'd rather be there

Hello!
This week is roller-coaster! Nothing goes as planned and I have more plans than I hoped I would. Nothing is blog related but I actually don't mind it that much. But I was late with regular posting and I actually a little sad about that.
Today I want to share with you a quick throwback to Zanzibar because it is exactly where I want to be now.

This is not something new because one of the photos above is my Facebook profile picture, you might have seen it many times. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt to cover my hands. I tested different sunscreen and it worked poorly so I gave my hands some extra love for two days. The top was awesome for that: I enjoyed extra protection without suffering from extra warmth. I'd definitely trade abnormally cold Moscow with Zanzibar this instant. I miss the high and low tides, white sand and warm ocean. as well as wearing sunglasses because I need them not because I just want to wear it
And a selfie with turtle. because I just have to have one posted on my blog.
I was wearing:
c/o iGlassesshop glasses
DKNY dress
Monki top
Adidas slippers
very old and not branded hat

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. Ah!! All that sunshine full of vitamin D. Doesn't it make you feel sad. Nothing beats all that natural sunshine to lift your spirits. You wake up everyday in Zanzibar smiling.

  21. This looks like a fantastic trip and I can understand why you'd like to visit again! I love animals and especially reptiles, so that turtle looks like a wonderful reason to go there. I'm sure there's much more wildlife to enjoy.

  22. I hear you when it comes to the sunscreen! It doesn't matter what I use, it never seems to be enough in warmer areas like that. I burned really bad (second degree burns) in Mexico despite using a high SPF sunscreen regularly, so I tend to err on the side of caution and choose longer sleeved options when I can. That top looks really comfortable and perfect for that situation!

    1. this one was not the oldest we got to meet. It is a little less than 100 years old. the oldest we saw (male) was 140.

  29. Who doesn't want a selfie with a giant turtle? I'd love that myself. Lol. I can totally understand your feelings of wanting to be back there. The weather and the beach look absolutely gorgeous! We are also back being locked down, while many other parts of the country are fully open, and it is a struggle. But these pics lifted my spirit because you took me there too through them.

More about hats

How did you welcome a new year? I did it calmly with lots of time dedicated to myself. Man, I needed a nice little break here and there, especially as my little one is home for a school break. I have had a lot of fun but I also managed to dig in some interesting information I really want to share with you. I now live in the hot climate and wear hats only for style but I used to wear hats to keep me warm years back. And you know what I am happy I have a choice. These days I wear a lot of bucket hats and baseball hats and occasionally rock a fedora. Do you fancy some hats? I used to wear wool based hats all the time but I never actually didn't try to alter it. recently I found a great way to alter them and get them to fit you perfectly. I would love to share it with you because I know just how much a good fit changes the whole perspective on a life in the cold. I have discovered three fantastic ways to deal with it: hot water pot, shower and washing machine (only applicable on bucke...

Still can't skate

Each year they set up a free artificial ice skating area as part of Christmas village in our city. I have tried it several times before and could never figure it out. But it is fun anyways. There is something in doing something horribly without any shame. I am not trying to excel in it and for some reason it it truly deeply liberating. What do you think? I wore simple and comfy outfit. Cropped top with Nightmare before Christmas print (it is Christmas theme for me, ok), comfortable back cargo pants and sneakers. You can not really top that. I was wearing: Cuidado con el Perro top and pants Converse shoes   Have a nice day, Lyosha

VFWR: Day 3, Liza Romanyuk

Next post about Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I'm  incredibly  slow but I hope you can handle it. I'm going to tell you about my last day at  Volvo  Fashion Week Moscow. It was a pleasant Sunday. The weather was grim so we've been more than happy to finally be inside. Fist show we've seen and the only show I'm sharing in this post (more are to come) was splashing summer energy runaway.I was totally in love. Moreover: VFWM was my very first fashion week ever last season and this season it made me one more  surprise -my first ever backstage entrance. I went with simple yet very comfy outfit in fact caring more about how comfortable I feel than anything else. My legs and back (esp.my poor back) kept telling me they hate me.  The show of Liza Romanyuk was very various. It came with different themes taking both clothes and music, even the light for catwalk and designer sign walls were slightly changed. Dreamy start Patterns and tons of fun ...
