Hand Cream advise

Who feels motivated? Not me! I still going on with procrastination, lack of energy and also excess of sleep. I understand that extremely low temperatures affect me but still. With cold and increased amount of indoor heating I use more creams and generally skin care products. It's a big tip from me, don't wait for your skin to feel and look drier, apply moisturizer before it happens. It is even more important for your hands as it is not only the weather but also increased amount of washing and sanitizer affect your hand skin.  I decided to share a product review with my partner Nivea. Handcream is probably my favorite of all Nivea products in general. It is affordable, easy to access and it works. I love it that it smells less intense as other Nivea products usually. This particular hand cream was new to me, I haven't used it before. There was some aloe in it and I was super happy to receive it. Aloe is probably the best component for hand cream during winter for me. And this hand cream is not different. I highly recommend it. Hand creams are not supposed to be expensive for me because I use it a lot and have numerous places to keep it (including my desk, coffee table and pup walking coat). Not my favorite scent because I am a huge fan of coconut in body skin care but it is nice as well. Do you have favorite hand cream? Any tips?

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. My hands get pretty bad in the winter! I always try to keep a bottle of lotion near me to help prevent them from getting to the point they look like alligator hands. This is a good lotion brand!

  23. I wish that I had read this a few weeks ago... I've been slacking on the skincare this year and now my legs, of all places, are super dry. I find I'm scratching all the time because dry skin can be so itchy. I am starting to address it now with moisturizer but I know that I SHOULD have addressed it before it got to this point lol

  24. I would have a hard time living without my Nivea! I don't use the handcream lotion but the good old blue container Nivea. Also Nivea body lotions. The only lotion that doesn't cause my dry skin to flake. Plus I love the scent.

  31. A hand cream is a daily must! Hands are sensitive, as then skin is quite thin in thickness, needing extra care. When it's winter... even more skincare is required.

  32. I feel like I have used a million times the normal amount of lotion this year! It is crazy because my skin is so dry. I'm like you and I have bottles stashed all over the house, in my vehicle, and in my purse. Lotion and lip balm both are an absolute necessity for me.

  34. With Russia being so cold I guess no one can do without moisturizers. Even here in India you can't do without body lotions, face creams and hand moisturizers. Nivea is my favorite product too.

  36. I see a lot of people go on about hand cream, so it's great that you've found one that you love so much! My hands have always been very soft, which I'm grateful for, but my face could definitely benefit from me actually putting in some effort in skincare-wise, so I'll have to look into some Nivea products for my face.

Dia del Taco

Would you head to the city centre to stay in the queues to eat some cheap taco, listen to mariachis and watch lucha libre for your your birthday? Because that is exactly what I happily did! It was so much fun! I was very tired after but it was So worth it. I do hope to repeat it next year because March 31st is Taco day in Mexico. I do hope to enjoy it even more next time! As it was my birthday I wanted to wear something more flashy and festive. I went with sexy skirt, basic top and my most comfortable shoes. I felt edgy and beautiful. May be a little overdressed but who cares as it was my birthday! Who said 'taco'? I was wearing: H&M skirt (yes, i still kinda shocked they made such a beautiful and well made silky perfection) Doc Marten's Cuidado con el Perro top (I wear this shop a lot, but they seem to be so cute and affordable, I found a lot of joy in buying a top once in a while) Coach bag Necklace gift from my partner long before Fossil watch (last year'

A year of my life 2.0

It's been a year since I have moved to Mexico and honestly it still feels like a dream come to true to me. I am so happy and fulfilled here, it is incredible. I am half-way scared I might jinx it. I do pray I won't. I am also very happy how my adaptation went/goes here. I thought it might be useful to many people who relocate to a very different climate and also different culture (always applies) to share some of my tips. Each of them contributed to my well being here. I feel very local here. After all they joke Mexicans are born wherever they feel like. May be it was meant for me to live here that is why I adapted so well. Anyways, here is my piece of mind: 1 Have your eyes opened. Adapt to new reality. It is not your previous home with benefits, it is completely different. Don't expect it to be like your before-home but better in each and every position. 2 People at your new place and the place itself are not "them", it is called "us" now. Start with

Pool time!

It is finally warm enough for a pool! Can't say I am a water baby but it was very nice for me. And Just look at the super cute Ada Maria in her baby bikini. Awww, my heart melted. I definitely felt like a mom-mom in my one piece swimsuit with ruffles and a huge floppy hat. I mean, isn't it what fancy pool moms looked like when I was little. I am a little shocked to realize.. I am one of them now! P.S. it is not nearly as warm today or yeasterday but I am staying hopeful for hitting the pool or a beach  very soon.
