Sun and shadow

This week has been wonderful. I relaxed, I worked, I cleaned and I smiled. I am definitely having a great time despite all the isolation thingy. I am even sort of grateful to it. I think it is all about perception and how you want to overcome it.

This is one of the outfits I wear at home. I try to avoid sweats, baggy items and things like that. I ofter wear something I might very well wear for a walk at home. But it is something regular to me. Clothes highly affects my mood and I try work it and bend it for the best result.
Yes it is One Piece t-shirt. No shame about it. And yes I watch it weekly, I have seen each episode. I even have figures at home. More than one.

I was wearing:
Uniqlo t-shirt and skirt
Reebok jacket
c/o Glasseshop glasses
Swatch watch

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  2. I agree. Shift in perspective matters. Instead of thinking you are trapped, think of it as a time where you get to do everything you needed to do at home but never had the time. :) I'm glad you smiled.

  3. You are so right that perspective is the most important thing! Personally, I have been loving the time at home (it's a wonderful opportunity to be creative and get caught up on things) but I know a lot of people who are going stir crazy. I'm glad you are feeling grateful for this time as well! I love this outfit. That skirt is super cute.

Being in lock down did affect my mental health during the first few weeks, but now that we are reaching the 2-month mark, I have did things that I did not have time to do before this pandemic. The house is always clean, the laundry hamper is empty and all closets are now more organized. There is just one thing I need to focus on doing now - continue and finish writing my first book.

  27. Love the outfit...you look so happy at home!

  28. It is so important to keep up a positive mental attitude even at this time when everyone is so restricted in what they can do and where they can go. I'm glad that you are able to wear clothes that lift you up

  30. I've definitely been a little grateful to the social isolation aspect of things. I've haven't felt this relaxed in a while. I don't really miss the being pulled every which way of my busy life. I always had several things to worry about at once. Now I can just focus on building my blog. I've been living in baggy sweater and comfy pants.

  31. Perspective is the word. It depends on how we see things. We should always focus more the good in all things.
    Nice outfit

  32. Having worked from home for so many years not much has changed for me but for some reason this pandemic forcing me to stay in is weighing heavier on me. I opt for maximum comfort as well and whatever works for you I say go with it!

  34. I have been guilty of wearing pajamas lately since I'm not going anywhere and want to be comfy. I decided to change that this week though. We just feel so much better when we make the effort to look good! Your outfit is awesome!

  35. Our clothing can definitely have an impact on our mood! While I haven't been dressing up per say, I have been using my clothing in a different way. My favourite time of the year is Halloween, it always brings me joy. So, I pulled out all my Halloween leggings and have been wearing them.

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
