In my latest post I was talking about the lack of news to share with you. I read a lot about writing about the pandemic. I don't want to. First of all I am not a professional. I am a modest citizen and I only follow the rules we have as good as I can (and I think I never broke it even partly). The whole thing is scary and I strongly believe there is too much of information noise around. And also my blog is not a lifestyle blog it is a blog about fashion and style. So I decided to write about the new normal detail. We wear masks. We wear masks a lot. We wear masks most of the time out. Why don't we make it stylish? There are a lot of funny options but I'd better write about something special facial masks from Russian Designers. Here are my choices:
Ksenia Knyazeva. It is a lovely designer who makes very feminine dresses, I like her creations a lot. She started making masks to keep her personnel busy and make some extra money to support the brand.
BatNorton is a nice street wear brand from Russian Northern capital. They did masks before the pandemic too. Very edgy!
Matrona is a brand from Krasnodar region (it's near the Black sea so it's warm there). I don't know why but the branding on the mask looks wonderful. They give masks away for free.
Bella Potemkina is controversial but fab designer known for her bright and bold design choices. She makes masks with flowers but I personally prefer one with logo.
The last is from Tvoe. It's a cheap brand in Russia, many of us buy our funny t-shirts to wear at home there. They also make cheap masks (around $3.50 in case you are not that good with rub)
Stay home, stay safe, stay stylish!
Have a nice day,
Lyosha
I definitely like the idea of stylish masks. That way, people can stay safe and still express themselves through fashion.
ReplyDeletethe creation of beauty is art.
I have really enjoyed seeing how creative people have been getting when creating their own masks. I didn't realize there were designers that were making options too! Thanks for sharing - it could help make our new normal a little more stylish.

ReplyDeleteyes Etsy is always a great option, I agree
DeleteJapan was like the first country that made this face masks a trend. Now everybody is getting into the wagon because they know they can have a profit out of it plus they are very helpful in this pandemic times.
ReplyDeleteI actually always liked it in japan that they are cool with masks. People were not used to masks in my country at all
DeleteWe're using the same normal masks but I love these ones, they're so cool...
ReplyDeleteI must admit that my masks are kind of boring and not as fashionable. These are so cute and I'll have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice. I like the first one. I still don't know how to buy a mask that is actually protective.
ReplyDeletewe still have couple of medical masks left (my family had a pack and shared it between members). These masks are not really protective but I think it still helps a little and even it's 1% safer I will go for it
DeleteMaking my own washable mask in also in my plate right now. I would love to make some and send to my friends as gift.
ReplyDeleteThat is even a better idea as I think
DeleteIt is so weird to me that these are a trend now! I got my mask on Etsy. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us!
ReplyDeleteGreat post dear, so nice and interesting, love it!
ReplyDeleteWho would have thought that we would be seeking mask fashion! There are some great options out there though, and I'm glad to have them!
ReplyDeleteI have seen a lot of really pretty masks emerging in the face of all this. I mean, if we're going to have to wear them, why not make them fashionable, right? Like you, I'm just trying to follow the rules and embrace this 'new normal' while we're here.
ReplyDeleteI love how they are also trying to adapt with the current situations. :) there's art in everything. love this post!
ReplyDeleteexactly! there is good in everything, there is art in everything, you just have to think
