MBFWRussia online

If you can not go to the Fashion Week, it goes to you. I was very excited to find out we are having a fashion week anyway. It is not ideal because it was made in form of presentations but we got to see the collections and connect with fashion in some way. For the first time I could drink coffee and sit comfortably to watch the show. Drinking and watching does feel good. I didn't have to wear shoes or go anywhere to enjoy fashion. On the other hand I didn't get to dress in a special way, wear shoes and feel the vibe of the fashion week. Company makes things feel better we can not deny it. And also as each show was available and I actually was at home I watched all the shows available. Like really 8 hours of fashion watching non stop. Well you don't get the queues and have toilet breaks with easy returns if watching fashion week online. I decided to share this experience with you in one combined post. Here are some shots from the collections I liked the most:
Julia Dalakian

White Crow

Dokuchaeva

Ophelica

Ruban

Nikolay Legenda

Nastya Nekrasova

Olya Kosterina

Ksenia Seraya

Diana Arno

Semiletova

You still have a chance to enjoy it! On April 6, you have the chance to watch full virtual #MBFWRussia at once - broadcast will take place throughout the day, all video presentations of designers' new collections will be looped.

You can watch it at online platform @aizel, @vogueitalia, @vogueczechoslovakia, @fashiontv, @fuuuckingyoung, @schonmagazine, @fashionweekonline.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  17. As strange as life has become, it is equally interesting to see how resourceful companies and organizations are to keep things moving along. Thank go we have technology such as the internet. I couldn't imagine something like this happening when I was young.

Thankfully with the internet we are still able to stay in touch with things that interest and excite us while still staying safe for the time being. Love the various selections you have shared with us here.

  31. How many Fashion Weeks are there in Russia?? Anyhoo, it's good that most hings are now remote and can be experienced from a device anywhere. Love some of the clothes that are practical and can be worn out.

    1. Historically there are two big fashion weeks (both founded by biggest fashion designer at the time) but during the last years one became significantly larger than the other (due to international sponsorship of Mercedes Benz) so the latter is now mostly focused on support of young designers. there are also two what we call 'minor' or 'themed' fashion weeks: for lingerie/swimwear and jewelry.

  32. I love how many brands are using this strange time to innovate, for example Zara has had models shoot campaigns themselves in their homes and the results are amazing!

  33. I love how so many companies and organizations are working hard to offer online shows, classes, and tours! It isn't quite the same, I do agree. But it still offers some semblance of normalcy too, and that is a wonderful thing right now.

  34. Wow, what a nice idea! Almost everything is being done remotely, and I didn't realize that it could also be possible to have a virtual event such as this.

  35. The outfits are gorgeous. And I also got to scroll and see on my phone.

  36. I think watching it with coffee and your beautiful dog would be more fun, anyway. When I see the different shows you go to, I actually prefer the clothes you are wearing over the model's. I like your style better. Stay safe and well and God bless!

  41. Most companies and organisations are trying to work online and this effort is commendable. Today internet is helping all of us life never before. These are some great designs and lovely outfits. Models need to make so much effort to pose and present designs perfectly.

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h

Tanchoo the talk

You might have noticed I often wear accessory marked Tanchoo (my favourite rings I tend to wear with almost each outfit) or some Russian designer clothes I'm wearing. It's all from wonderful shop Tanchoo . I love this shop so much so when I thought about launching the post series about fashion in form of interview I never thought twice and contacted lovely shop owner Tatiana or simly Tanchoo to start it. This is Tanchoo herself modeling for her shop. this is me wearing some of Tanchoo accessories.and Dina Faradgeva top also from this shop And this is the interview: 1 Tanya the first question would be most ordinary but nevertheless interesting: why your shop and accessory line is called Tanchoo . What does it mean?   Tanchoo is my name is the sphere of design and for life. No my real name for sure is Tatiana but my friends call me that way - Tanchoo or Tanch)) That’s why then it came to choosing my brand name and afterwards the project Young Russian Design
