RMFW

Last week I had a chance to visit a very nice and new to me event. It was Russian Modest Fashion Week. Build upon the ideas of diversity and equality the main message is that you don't have to look sexy if don't want to but you can look beautiful anyway. Sexy doesn't mean beautiful. If you want to cover your body per your religion, mood or views you should still be able to easily shop such looks. Russian Modest Fashion Week pursued such ideas and also had some support not only from fashionable ladies but also from both Muslim and Christian Orthodox church of Russia. I think it's kinda cool seeing representatives of two major religions of Russia attending the opening of fashion show. I was very happy and excited to be a part of this event as a guest.

I really loved the designs shown: not only something casual but also formal and other way around. I felt like the fashion shows were really aiming to fully dress any girl interested. Also coordinated family looks were lovely. One of my personally favorite brand of Russia Irada was present as well.

As for my outfit I wanted to go for modest look more or less. I have chosen a wide skirt I was waiting to wear and paired it with my vintage blouse I can't help but wear often lately, I guess I have one more round of love towards it.

I was wearing:
Jil Sander boots
Lusio skirt
vintage shirt and belt
Tous necklace
Longchamp bag
Swarowsky earrings

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

МКММ + Couture Fashion Show

So! I am so very excited! I have visited my first real actual fashion show ever since March and I couldn’t ever be happier. It’s just wow! This time I visited MKMM final shows merged with Couture Fashion Show later that night. I had a chance to see many wonderful shows by young and talented designers and enjoyed it a lot. Creativity everywhere. Something is purely catwalk (and I totally don’t mind it at all), something that is very easy to imagine rushing the streets, something very creative and futuristic and making a statement with so much in between. Overall in love. I don’t think I really can be picky because after all those digital shows real made a huge impression on me. It almost as if I am visiting my first ever fashion show but better because I know what to expect. I think you are not reading this and already scrolled past this point and enjoy the contestants. And don’t blame you at all.  RU: Прекрасные новости! Мой первый настоящий офлайн показ с марта месяца. И он оказася пр

Racing and reviewing

Enjoy the little things. Yesterday I made it to my first run this year (race actually but counting my own results it is being a part is what matters). It was so emotional and so good. I loved it so much. It felt close to my first runs ever by the emotions. And it was also a new location to me. We ran near town of Volokolamsk next to a memorial for 28 heroes Panfilovcy. There is a story of WWII heroes, A squad waited for reinforcements and didn't back off because Moscow, the capital, was right behind them. Only 28 men survived to see the help. They are highly praised here, even though we are not sure it is fully truth. I loved the memorial, it looks impressive but there is no pomposity you see so often about about Russian WWII monuments (even though they are not called WWII, in Russia it is called the Great Patriotic War). For the run I wore a new suit I was provided by Dear-lover wonderful shop. The suit is made with snake print which I love (and I am Zodiac snake, by the wa
