Bridesmaid dresses from Pickeddresses

Next week - next category! Just a quick reminder: I'm making a collaboration with wonderful online shop called Pickeddresses which is mostly concentrated on wedding fashion. Each week I'm showing you more and more of it, picking my favorite styles from the website (you check my latest best choices and review here and here). It is a Canadian shop so this time I wanted to share my favorite styles from purely Canadian category - Bridesmaid Dresses Canada. I think you are a little tired from dresses for brides because after all all wedding dresses are beautiful. Bridesmaid dresses are more tricky to choose because they are normally not centered on one single person (as it is for a bride). Most of people tend to create something of both style and theme around the bridesmaids so most of wives to be spend a lot of time looking for the balance. Bridesmaid just have to be beautiful being the most beautiful and stunning gals on the wedding after the Bride herself. But not each of us can stay all of her best girlfriends look alike. Most of them have their precious uniqueness in both body and soul. It's very hard to find the dress style suitable and winning for each of them that's why Brides often have to think more. It can be color, similar details or even the whole neutral silhouette alike for each bridesmaid. But it's always very hard. Of coarse the bride can just let them pick the best dress for them and still be happy but would it look so good on wedding photos. To tell the truth wedding photos are important not only for the newly weds. Often when we have Bridesmaids to pick their dress all by themselves we see dissonance and a photographer has to put more effort to create a balanced look, often making girl stay on the same position, avoiding some pairs of bridesmaid because they just don't look right o photo. That's why I think bride have to put en effort to help her girls to find their best dresses. Online shops are relief here - no matter where your bridesmaids live all of them can easily find her dress online following the examples or chosen styles given by the Bride. Most of them offer customizing so you don't have to bother about bridesmaid sizes varying from 0 to plus-sized. I've already talked about different tips with Bridesmaid dresses like picking the same color or color pallets (pastels for example), picking a style (it is not necessary the same dress for each, it often be better to choose for example 20s inspired dress so each Bridesmaid can find dress which suit her best) or a detail (like a bow on waist, one shoulder or knee-length) to create a balance. Or of coarse you can pick the dress which would suit worst each of the bridesmaids to make sure the Bride looks the best (just joking).

These are my top picks out of the category:

Deodorant Battle

It's not that I don't have a new travel post really but I want to mix thing up a little and add beauty post. Yes I will never be a beauty blogger but I do enjoy some beauty stuff and I love posting about it on my social media. Why not do it here from time to time. My blog - my rules. So here I am posting about deodorants. It was curious for me as I was send two options of the same line: spray and roll. Which one is better? I tested!

Spray dries faster and the scent is slightly less which I love. However I am never sure if I covered everything and also still not sure if spray is such a good option ecologywise.
Roll is can take more! I mean it, I ran almost 15 km with it and my armpits were actually the only dry spots I had (oops! disgusting, I know).

Each is awesome stain wise, even my black yoga pants went through bakasana which is always an issue with products. Generally I did like both products. Will probably stick to roll though, I mostly need deodorant for sports and it makes…

Zaraysk 2020

August gave so much energy and so many emotions over traveling. Close and far, to new places and not. Last week we have been to Zaraysk, a small town with big story some 150 km from Moscow (still same region though, Russia is big). We have been there last year but we loved it there so much we wanted to come back. And we had o chance to skip it as we are doing Running Series this year and want to run in each possible start this year. We registered on each successfully so all we need now is to actually complete the run.
Zaraysk was first mentioned in 1146 so it's technically older than Moscow. Originally it was a bordertown. Compact but effective fortress (or Kremlin in old-fashioned Russian way)  was built to protect the Ryazan Duchy and later on Great Moscow Duchy from the Tatars. Well this particular Tatar girl thinks she could call this trip a tie or one more win for Zaraysk. Kremlin looks very lively there and my favorite spot, the 1916  water tower gives great view. Bonus poin…

Add a layer

The last day of Summer was the hottest in Moscow during the whole recorded time. I didn't fully enjoy it frankly having tons of things to do. And so I did with the first day of fall as well. I kinda wished I was myself on the photos below: chilling and relaxed on a boat.
Today I don't only want to show the wonderful idea of boat style transitioning outfit but also show you my new item. So if you happen to be on a boat take a cardigan. On water even slight wind might feel colder especially when fall is right there. however it might be good to swim or sunbath so you might want to wear a bikini. Light cardigan is on to go item for such moment: just throw it right onto your swimsuit and enjoy the comfort and beauty. This purple babe is from Dear Lover. The they both wholesale and retail options so you will definitely find what suits you best. There are tons of cardigans and it is a joy! I have to admit when I feel the breath of autumn I tend to look at all the cardigans out there.…
