Hair Styling and The Importance of Good Tools

Everybody knows I have short and extreme straight hair (call it blessing or not) but even I think a lot about work under my hair and exp I do so when I need to get my hair cut.

A bad workman always blames his tools? Well a bad hair stylist is one who fails to look after his (or her) tools of the trade. It’s a known fact that any clippers, whatever, brand or model, are only as good as the blades and it’s important that they are looked after. When looking to get your clipper blades sharpened here are some tips on seeking out a trust worthy clipper sharpening service:
1) Look for a reputable service and remember that, like always, when the price is too cheap there often is a catch.
2) It’s tempting to go for just a sharpening of blades but it’s best to opt for a full service. A full service includes a full strip down and cleaning of the clippers as well as sharpening since, often, water and dirt can build up in the clippers and cause rust and permanent damage.
3) Be sure that the clipper sharpening company offers you a full testing and guarantee of their service, in writing.
Coolblades is an example of a supplier of trade-specialist salon equipment with a professional clipper sharpening service. They specialise in the sharpening and restoration of all makes of professional clippers and their factory-trained bladesmiths promise to bring your clippers back to their original life.
Their clipper service includes:
* Strip down & cleaning
* Angle setting / adjustment
* Sharpening & balancing
* Polish & shine
* Setting, testing & guarantee
* Postage BOTH ways
For more details see here.
Remember to look after your hairdressing tools well as it will only save you in the long term, as you won’t have to replace your equipment regularly. On top of this good tools ensure good cuts and good cuts equal happy customers.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. He's the best in this part.  Our little ghost this is my entery for IFB project #70 I was wearing: little black dress I own since I was 9 years old (I still more than fit in it) Topshop hat Jeffrey Campbell heels Chanel makeup   Have a nice day, Lyosha

What's in my bag?

I never did such post and really wanted to fill in the blanks here. Moreover I wanted to do it because I recently got two items which are hard to show in the outfit but are part of my daily life and style for sure. Plus it's it fun to have a closer look in my daily life? That's why I want to show you my bag contents. When I'm not wearing a backpack which usually means I have a sports uniform inside or planning or carry something more or less big or going for some travels (so I need my hands as free as possible) I tend to use smaller scale bags. The point is to have only minimum of necessary things with me and not to loose something important. This time I'm featuring my recently most loved bag by NewChic (you can shop it here ). Usually I have a wallet with me. When who doesn't? We still money to life, right? It is my very new and super comfy wallet which was provided by great company NewChic  I recently posted two posts with their awesome items here and h
