Wednesday Whites

Happy Wednesday! It's middle of the week. Do you enjoy it so far? My week's a little bumpy and I a little bit too much focused on my upcoming weekend in St. Pete'swhich is really deepened by odd cold, rainy and windy weather. Why do we have Australian weather here? Why is it nowhere summer today? I don't know. Anyway, I didn't have much desire to get a proper outfit post done (I need to give my pictures a little work, you know) but I decided to post anyaway so here it goes: inspiration post. I can assure you I didn't have any issues thinking of a brand/store to write about btu I did have issues with a theme. I really wanted something to cheer me up to put a smile n my face. Thankfully I got pretty fast: I wanted to get some bridal inspiration! After all summer is wedding season even though I frankly prefer late spring (yay for May weddings). When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. Happy Halloween

Don't you just loove  Halloween ?everybody does! This year we made it very special  decorating  everything, cutting a huge pumpkin and creating yammy  Halloween  food. We've celebrated this holiday at the exact date October 31st at home with friends. I chose the costume of intelligent witch (yeap, jedi costumes are not fair for Halloween) and finally worn my little black dress I wear so seldom. Max decided to come to usual role of ordinary Murre vampire. So cold!

Winter sure is a harsh season for any person living in the northern parts of the world. The temperature hits below 0 C, there is a lot of snow and such... It might be tempting to pretend to be a bear and stay at home doing nothing. But you definitely shouldn't do that. Relax, go out and do your best to enjoy the current weather. Or at least make yourself move as fast as possible to move from point A to point B and enjoy your life when you are finally at the place of destination. The key is to get dressed properly. Try more layers or use very warm items. Also thermal underwear (the simplest and cheapest being Heattech from Uniqlo) might help a lot. As for me I mix warmer items, layering and smart materials to achieve the best result. Today I post my little outfit I wore on Friday. Met with my family, did some shopping and went to gym. Overall I was spending a fair amount of time outside so I needed to stay warm. Surely being a blogger I couldn't avoid desire to still look...
