Inside and Outside

From 29/03/13 till 02/04/13 in Moscow 26th Fashion Week Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia would take place. More than 70 designers from  Russia, Ukrain, Belorussia, Georgia, Great Britain and Spain would present their collection in Manezh (ЦВЗ «Манеж» Манежная площадь, д. 1). It would fall/winter 2013/2014 collections. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia shows only the top designers such as SLAVA ZAITSEV, Tatiana Parfenova, Alena Akhmadullina, BEssARION, Dasha Gauser,ХакаМа, TEGIN, BORODULIN'S, LEONID ALEXEEV, MASHA KRAVTSOVA, POUSTOVIT, Lena Tsokalenko, PIROSMANI BY JENYA MAL YGINA,  RUBAN and other leading designers. Let's distract from fashion for a little while now. Estet Fashion Week ended and Mersedes-Benz Fashion Week is yet to come. My Mom recently had a birthday a asked for opera tickets as gift. We all went there with her as it was a part of her wish. We listened to La Traviata in main 'old' building of the Bolshoy Thearte and for me it was something special. I've never been to this theatre before esp. considering it closed for years  due to massive reconstruction (they tried keep the most from its 250 year old history). Although I'm not an opera fan I enjoyed the true emothins and beautiful music of classic La Traviata (it's my Mom's most loved opera ever) not mentioning the voices. For this even I just had to go for something formal and elegant. The hardest part was my job so I had to mix both of those style. During and even a little longer than Mersedes-Benz Fashion Week russian fashion lovers would be able to see the exhibition of Vyatcheslav Zaitsev the elder and I'd say the most famous Russian Designer. Slava Zaitsev brand is selebration it's 30 anniversary this year. Since 1982 Zaitsev is making his amaizng collections. He was the first Soviet designer to start placing his name on clothes label. Many of his collections were shown abroad icluding "Russian Seasons In Paris" (PFW), "1000 from Christening Russia" (Milan and Paris), 2 personal exhibitions in Berlins etc. This year he was named the  Designer of year by GQ. He was a pioneer, the first designer to show Russian fashion to the world. The exhibition would last from 18th till 31st of October in Manezh Have a nice day, Lyosha  

September  is the time for the Big Four. October is the time for me to feel big. Different Fashion Weeks are starting now and I cam't wait to taste the catwalk view again. This season I'm providing my blog with lager cover what is going on with Russian Fashion. Mersedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia (former Russian Fashion Week) this time is having a jubileum 25 years!
