Inside and Outside

Casual, comfortable and a little egdy. I loved this comfortable look. I like how flowy and loose it is but at the same time put together. The thing that makes this outfit really work for me are the the shoes. You can never go wrong with Doc Marten's, right? It is not actually a question, it is true. I wore this outfit for a little date with my husband. While I might have chose something nicer or more feminine but I didn't feel that way that day. After all that's all being me. Archeological site El Rey is located in the Cancun hotel zone, right next to the most scenic beach in my opinion playa Delfines. The part of the ancient town is actually located in the nearby museum Museo Maya Cancun (if you ever visit it, don't forget to also check the ruins in the garden). But the original town was a lot more than what you see in the museum. I highly suggest you to walk a little bit further and explore the ruins of the right hand side right after playa Delfines. It is a very tranquil place with lots of iguanas for the inthuiasts and ruins to explore. the entrance is inexpensive as well. My family had a lot of fun exploring the small ruins of our town. I have chosen to wear my favorite wideleg jeans, a crop top and practical closed shoes (I always suggest some soft of closed toes shoes to explore the ruins, it allows you to move freely without worring to hurt your  feet). I wore this outfit for a school event. We had to wear something casual and white (or at least white-ish) for a picnic. I had a very hard time coming up with a look. After all picnic and white do not mix well, right. I opted foor light colored jeans and a  basic top (I was ready to bid it farewell if things go south). My mil is very talented and made me this cutest top! Absolutely love the simple yet girly design. It is so much fun! I also wore it as a vest. I know I will wear it again a lot more in winter. My mother is law is very talented. She made me this top and obsessed. it goes withh literally everything, fits me very nicely and even provides me with some warmth when needed. If you are a lizard you just have to get comfortable on a rock, right? At least that is what my iiguana friends taught me. And they taught me well. I am seriously consiidering getting all warm and cozy on the roocks because these endless cold fronts are killing me. It is supposed to be high tourist season but it is nothing like warm and mild Carrebean climate. I can go on complaining about the weather for days even though I do know it has its perks and I can not deny it. ANd I really ttry to just soak in the colder days as well. Ever since my daughter started day care we returned to the dates just the two of us. Surely it doesn't happen all the time but it is nice to grab some coffee and think about nothing and just enjoy each other without any distraction. Bonus points for nostalgic local such as Starbucks. I do think this is an ultimate relaxed Sunday brunch outfit. I did't wear it on Sunday but trust me,  I felt as if I got the day of the week wrong. One of my most beloved days a year. day when you can eat as many tamales as you want. And they will cheer you on it too. Isn't it heavenly good? At least for me tamales are. We headed to the main town square to enjoy feria of tamales and eat various versons from different regions of Mexico and even from other Latinamerican countries. It was so much fun but I'll probably skip weighting me for awhile, jeje. I wore a simple look that allowed extra space in my tummy area to accomodate all I wanted and managed to eat.
