Spring Weekend Vibes

Hello!
Smile! It's weekend!
This weekend is final lockdown weekend for us (fingers crossed the isolation will not come back June 14th, current effective date of 'walking isolation rules). We will be able to go for a walk as per schedule and workout in the early hours but I am happy with what this is.
My plans for the weekend? Bake something nice, play video games, ping pong and read (I am re-reading 'Hobbit' and I couldn't enjoy Bilbo adventure more)

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  1. We are looking forward to ending the lockdown, but the drawback is that how are we sure that the covid19 virus will not mutate from lifting the quarantine. Well, I hope everything will get back to normal in no time but soon. So we will have the chance to do what we plan to do. And for your plans as well.

  10. So great that your lockdown is coming to an end, which must mean things are a lot safer now where you are. Let's hope that there is no second wave and that they find a vaccine soon. In the meanwhile it is always great to see that you are staying in good spirits and are able to get out in the open. The Hobbit is also a great read!

  14. Great news for you! Where I live, the state of alarm will be officially lifted on the 7th of June. I can't wait! Oh, and I LOVE The Hobbit. It was the first book I read by the great Tolkien.

    1. me too! it was also the first book I read in English as a child. it was special edition though, for kids who are still learning.

  15. Lucky you. Enjoy. Here in NYC we're on lockdown until at least July and it looks like my job probably won't let us back to the office until next year.

  16. That's great that you will finally get to go outside for a walk. I read The Hobbit years ago...I should read it again!

  17. We are starting to open things up slowly over here. June 1st we will see the opening of crown land and back country camping (sites that don't provide washrooms, etc - total 'roughing it') and we might just have to take advantage of that for a much needed getaway! There is no word yet as to when the parks will open up the rest of their campsites (those that provide facilities within the park). That's what I'm missing most right now - we've had 3 camping trips cancelled to date and I just want to get out in my tent with my husband and our pups!

    1. camping sounds like a dream to me! I really want to see something more distant than 2 kilometers around. but it a blessing anyway.
I wish you well with your camping

    2. Yes! I feel like we've been cooped up in our small corner of the world for far too long. By this stage, we usually would have already travelled for a couple camping trips to kick off the season. I can't remember the last time that I waited this late to get out and enjoy at least a weekend somewhere else... Combine that with the fact that I couldn't travel north to visit my family in the spring and I'm getting REALLY antsy lol

  18. The end of isolation is a great reason to celebrate. I love how much fun you are having with this.

  19. Cant wait to start going out again. I just hope everything is safe whenever that time comes

  20. Lock down has not been ended here yet and there are no signs. Not many people were complying anyway - and due to that it's still ongoing. As a vulnerable person who has been shielding since March, it's frustrating that no one seems to be listening.

I hope you had a lovely weekend!

    1. I am so sorry to hear that. Nobody listens here too. Actually I think the softening here is for the better: less people will go out just to make a protest

  21. Baking and reading was my way too of spending this quarantine time. As frustrating as this situation is, still i believe it helped us relax and come closer

    1. it helped a lot actually. my family used the time to get back on track with many things we pushed away. plus I am super happy with extended food variety at home, we started cooking with more passion, not sticking to the things require less time and still being healthy

  22. The purple lipstick is so fun on you! I'm glad that your restrictions will start lifting soon - it's so nice when it's safe enough to get back outside! :)

Hope that you had a nice weekend :) Thanks so much for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup last week! The new link up is live on my blog now, I'd love you to join again. :)

  23. Our stay-at-home orders were just extended to the end of June. Things are slowly starting to open up though, and it's nice to get out just a little. I'm reading Drums of Autumn, the 4th book in the Outlander series.

    1. thanks! I definitely will not. today (the first day allowed) I made a morning ran, tomorrow we plan a long pup walk in the park. I don't think shopping safe as of yet, my own vision is purely lonely outdoors. I also hope the weather will be better and we will be spending some time on our boat too. outdoors, fun and socially distant. I think my yacht parking skills are a bit rusty still

  26. It is great that lockdown is being lifted but we are all stick with Covid. It is true that now we need to learn to live and social distancing is a part of life but I am always scared for young children. On the lighter note, I love the lipstick. Nice color to make your mark

  27. That's some good news and those seem like awesome plans for the weekend. Enjoy!

  32. That's so good to hear that you would be free to a great extent. Even in our country the lock down is over in most places except the containment zones where there are lot of cases. The jacket and cap looks so nice on you. Have a great weekend.

  33. I am ready for the lockdown to be over too! I keep hoping that things will return to normal fairly quickly. Although right now we have curfews because of protestors causing riots and burning down businesses. The world seems to be completely crazy at the moment.

  34. Lovely photos dear. I like your playful make up. The Hobbit is a great choice, I have read it many times.

Happy Monday!

It was a it rainy yesterday but we loved it. It means there way less people outside and breathing is super nice. It is still very warm outside so I added a light denim jacket and a hat (as a shelter for possible rain) to finish it. Actually my husband chose this hat and it totally took on different level.

We've been filming a yoga video with my classmate and teacher on Saturday and I was dead beat on Sunday. Actually we took walk to take a walk, we had other plans put rearranged everything to take a rest on Sunday. We succeeded. Yay me!

I was wearing:
Topshop shorts
Uniqlo One Piece t-shirt
Adidas flipflops
c/o Rosegal hat

Have a nice day, Lyosha

Birthday Boy

Summer! I love it when it's hot. I never complain about the hot weather if I don't do it on purpose to get some ice cream. I don't really associate summer with bright colors in clothing but I do feel it's ideal for floral print. If you ask me I go out as much as I can safely. It is not easy because it looks like that despite the numbers my country has forgotten about the virus at all. We stay away from people as much as possible so I am super thankful we know our local park so well. All I really need to avoid people is to pass the doors.
I haven't worn these shorts for ages. I saw it last week in my closet and realized I really want to wear it now. I practically live in it this week. So comfy! I like matching it with brighter colors so really pop.

It's my pup's Birthday today. Raidho, the elder boy, turned nine today. Time flies so fast. I love him to the moon and back and do hope he has many-many active years ahead. Happy happy Barkday!

Emily Rose, the interview

Today I have something special made for you, an interview. Not long ago I went by a lovely newly launched online shop Emily Rose, became charmed by the styles and decided to tell you about in best possible way: making an interview.

1 how did Emily Rose start? Why did you decide to turn your art into fashion? I have always been into art, drawing painting, sculpting, and photography. I just love creating! I studied art education at Long Island University in New Yorkto become an art teacher. My first year of teaching I was required to teach fashion, I had to teach myself and I found the art of fashion inspirational. My website originally started as my online art portfolio just to showcase my art. I created my website myself by watching lots of tutorials, I was not trained in web development. I always thought it would be cool to mass produce something since it makes it more affordable for other to make purchases than to buy my original pieces. I looked around the internet for print on dema…
