Eternal Girl

If you forgot I have a wonderful section on my blog which is all about designers and interesting projects. This time I want to share a wonderful interview I've done with Julia, accessory designer (visit her Etsy shop Eternal Girl) and blogger from Puella Aeterna.

1 you own a blog and a shop. What came first? Is mixed in some kind of way for you?

My shop came first. I started blogging to update my fans about my latest designs.

2 which are you sources of inspiration?
I get inspired from henna and mehndi art. I fell in love with the cultural experience of the design and special symbolism.

3 I was smitten with artwork of your necklaces. Did you learn to paint somewhere?
I have not studied art professionally. I have always loved to draw and paint ever since I was young.

4 Tell us about the piece you ever designed
The necklaces I design are all hand-drawn. Each necklace is created with a unique, henna inspired pattern mixed with my own style. The images are secured in an antique styled, bronze pendant with a round glass covering. It is made with a bronze metal chain.

5 A little survey for Inside and Outside blog: some say talented in fashion kids usually try to make their toys look better (repainting for example) did you do something like that? And if you did then what?

I remember when I was young, I liked to make a lot of bracelets out of sewing thread, beads, and yarn.
P.S. don't forget to use code INOUT for special 10% discount for my readers. Thanks Julia

Have a nice day,
Lyosha and Julia

Cute Leaf

It's been awhile since I posted a simple outfit. Something I wore for no actual reason just to enjoy myself. It's actually feels great to be able to post an outfit that is just, well, an outfit. I like the calm grey-ish tone of it. I felt relaxed and ready to enjoy the golden leaves and even post with one of them. This particular leaf suffered a horrible end: instead of being a nourishment for trees it became a toy for my pups to be torn in pieces and eaten.   I was wearing: Jil Sander boots Monki bag Uniqlo Heattech turtleneck H&M cardigan c/o Moon Love necklace   Have a nice day, Lyosha

November Sunglasses Review: Glassesshop

Review time! You know I have a long term love and partnership with glasses shop Glassesshop . I have far more than just one pair of glasses from them and I do enjoy and love each. Last week I told you about the new brand Gudvue and regular prescription glasses. This time I want to share my sun glasses. Yes I agree it's not the best time to wear sun glasses in Moscow but it's not like my sunnies gonna run anywhere. Actually as soon I saw some sun coming out of the clouds (November is very grim and dark in Moscow) I took my husband out on a date while rocking my new sunnies. The frames are lightweight, big enough and cover from sun nicely. Not too dark so you can see things. I also had it done with lens to improve my vision and as always it worked great. Slight polarization is a nice bonus to me. The quality is superb, it doesn't feel good, it feel posh and lux. I am shocked how expensive it looks and feels because in real life it is not. As always I highly recommend you to

Stay safe and Kawaii

Face masks are now not an only a safety measure, it is a part of daily life everyone of us. We are used to wearing masks, have a stash on them, discuss favorite type and brands. Masks had also became fashion. Many of us combine wearing reusable mask with disposable depending on life situation or a place to go. Some even wear one on top of the other for more extreme situations. I don't think we need to fight it, me need to embrace it. Wearing a beautiful mask can actually complement your outfit. However the most fashionable masks are reusable masks you might still find yourself in the situation when you need more protection and that is a prized moment for disposable masks. Most of them are bland light blue or oddly green and I absolutely hate it. It ruins any outfit. But it doesn't have to be that way. I have disposable masks for Blippo Kawaii shop, courtesy of the shop itself. It's a 10 pieces in a pack and it's super cute. I mean it's so cute I kinda wish I could w
