Inside and Outside

Final day for me was very busy with extra work and things to do but I was very excited I also had a show to attend. And it was wonderful! The brand is called Gerda Irene and it's an upcycle brand. there was a number of upcycle brands on MBFWRussia but I do think Gerda Irene is the only brand who does it really naturally and eco-friendly. She fins magical old embroidery, interesting laces and materials. The collection doesn't force you to show off the item is upcycled and mostly it's very hard to guess on the first sight. If you ask me, that's the real purpose, giving new lives, new clothes, not some show off costume. I don't want my clothes to be loud about my sustainability position, I want my clothes to be pretty and stylish and modern. I want to be able to do that thinking about ecology and our world but I also want to think about fashion. I do believe Gerda Irene is the brand to support me in the position. For the first time in ages, I wore an outfit just to make a photo in it. On Instagram I made a collaboration with Lightroom presets so I needed a photo to show the preset abilities and variety. Surely there was no chance to wear monochrome looks. That is how this outfit was born. Being a blogger I find no issues in standing obviously not dressed enough for a minute or two. But I did wear a coat there and during camera set up. However this time it was nowhere pleasing because we also had something between snow and rain falling off the sky. But I love how the photos turned out.  This outfit is 100% made by my fantastic husband. I allowed him to dress me up the way he wants. I do think I should wear leggings more, hehe. Time to play dress up! Oh I mean time to walk the dogs. I try to dress nicely every time I need to leave the house. I do dress nicely for home as well but frankly outdoors have extra charm. I have dogs and it means we have to go out to walk them. We do it daily and we switch. Sometimes we cheat and having two dogs we are allowed to walk them together and we enjoy some time on the playground. We took camera, I dressed, we took dogs with us and made some photos on a way. Thanfully there was a pretty tree on the dog walking area. Gray is pretty much the color of mood for people around the globe. We have better and worse I believe but there is so much lacking and we can not deny it. I least I can't. My sweater is actually a dress so extra warmth for a walk is granted. I love this shoes too - easy to walk in and always a big highlight for any outfit. My head tends to feel cold all the time so I am wearing a hat too. My pups say hello! Have a nice day, ...

Two weeks ago I attended a lovely event. This time it wasn't a fashion show it was very different yet alike. It was a press day held by brand sOliver where I got a chance to look through and touch lots of wonderful designs from new collections before it hits the retail shelves. Needless to say I was eager to try it all on and think of the designs I want to adopt to my closet.    I was most impressed with sOliver Black Label collection. The premium line aimed for business left me impressed the most due to a big change! The added lots of bold colors, making more dull office fashion really stand out. I was also happy with add of fabulous printed tops and even sports clothes. Very nice basic shoes and outerwear as well.     The whole event was very much fun and joy to me. Nice music and interesting guidance from sOliver press guide. I have to say even though I admired sOliver before my love to the brand deepened after the press day. ...
