Green Tulip


I love spring. It always makes me feel special. I honestly can’t wait for calendar spring tomorrow. I do hope to enjoy it the fullest and am looking forward to a great period of my life. 
This being said I love not only spring as an abstract concept, I love things connected to spring, things that make me feel that way. That is why I was very excited when Mist and Dawn contacted me for a collaboration. I honestly had a hard time choosing the accessory for a review. But only up until the moment when I laid my eyes on this baby. The color is just perfect and I love how it pops and instantly elevates the look. The naming was fantastic as well so I knew I just have to try this one. And I wasn’t wrong about it. It’s very lightweight. The golden parts shine brightly in the sun. Its length goes great with my body and color with the skin. It looks very durable and easy to style and wear. It is made of Czech beads so it is made to last. So far I enjoy each time I get a chance to wear it. 




This is how I first styled it. I think it worked great with the whole outfit, bringing it a nice vintage touch.

    I love everything about spring as well. The longer days, warmer weather, colors and smells of trees starting to bloom. I start wanting to go out and feeling refreshed. Spring is definitely my favorite time of year.

Music

Every family have traditions. Some migrate from families you come from (your parents), some migrate from your partner and his family, some take roots in your or your partner's own living while some you create by yourself as family. The latter are the most exciting. Sometimes one time deal become important because you like it so much! Sometimes, you don't really pay attention and in some time you realize - the tradition was born. I've already told you Max and I go St. Patrick's parade in Moscow every year no matter the weather (it wasn't easy this year due to cold but we went anyway). Here is one more tradition of ours. Each month we go to philharmonic mostly to listen to classical music (however it is not always that genre). Sergiev Posad trip

First trip this year. And with friends. I have visited this town many times and it's still lovely. I'd say the point of this trip was to get out of home and familiar places to enjoy something remotely like a trip. We did want to look for something distant or hard to get to or even taking a lot of time to get to. SO we have chosen Sergiev Posad. This town is closely tied with Russian Orthodox Church having tons of temples and a monastery. I highly recommend to visit it because they have a super delicious bakery inside, not a joke really. The museums were closed and it was a bit cold outside but we walked a lot anyway. And had a fine meal together. If you ask me, it is very close to perfection. As for my outfit... I wanted to keep warm, that is why it looks a lot like what I wear to walk my dogs, lol. I tried to make it all look more pretty with long scarf (I have a soft sot for it) and cute mittens.
