Eternal Girl

If you forgot I have a wonderful section on my blog which is all about designers and interesting projects. This time I want to share a wonderful interview I've done with Julia, accessory designer (visit her Etsy shop Eternal Girl) and blogger from Puella Aeterna.

1 you own a blog and a shop. What came first? Is mixed in some kind of way for you?

My shop came first. I started blogging to update my fans about my latest designs.

2 which are you sources of inspiration?
I get inspired from henna and mehndi art. I fell in love with the cultural experience of the design and special symbolism.

3 I was smitten with artwork of your necklaces. Did you learn to paint somewhere?
I have not studied art professionally. I have always loved to draw and paint ever since I was young.

4 Tell us about the piece you ever designed
The necklaces I design are all hand-drawn. Each necklace is created with a unique, henna inspired pattern mixed with my own style. The images are secured in an antique styled, bronze pendant with a round glass covering. It is made with a bronze metal chain.

5 A little survey for Inside and Outside blog: some say talented in fashion kids usually try to make their toys look better (repainting for example) did you do something like that? And if you did then what?

I remember when I was young, I liked to make a lot of bracelets out of sewing thread, beads, and yarn.
P.S. don't forget to use code INOUT for special 10% discount for my readers. Thanks Julia

Have a nice day,
Lyosha and Julia

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda...

Pre-wedding

In the end of March (which was chilly enough) Max and I had a per-wedding shooting. We tested the photographer we chose for a wedding. We really like the result as there is no actual posting on these shots. We were just fooling around. I wanted to share it with you as the results is fab and this day was full joy and laugh. And I do believe you missed my smiling face!  rare moment of Lyosha and camera   Raidho had his moment as well I was wearing: Topshop jaket Tommy Hilfiger jeans Vero Moda tee Empodium shoes (bought in Czech Republic)   Have a nice day, Lyosha

Skull baby

I'm not a fan of  skeletons  and such but lately I feel into it. Dunno why actually but it is so. I found the gloves on sale in local store. I loved the lovely  asymmetry  of the pair and the price was more than fair. 10 rub (about 30 cents) for gloves? Score! When I bought it I thought if the gloves die right after the shooting of outfit it worth to be bought anyway. But it  proved  to be better and looks like a good contribute to my closet. I wanted to create a rather outdoor outfit that's why I didn't show you what I wore under (a thick black sweater if you are interested). At first I though of a total black outfit but I found it much more fun to be bi-colourd. So my favourite color of blue was added. I personally love this outfit madly. Hope you'll love it as well I was wearing: Jeffrey Campbell shoes Tommy Hilfiger skinny jeans (basic is basic) Topshop hat not branded gloves, coat ...
