Happy New Year!

In Russia New Year celebrations are major and a lot of people have some time off. For me it also means meeting with friends and following the traditions. One of said traditions is an early run on January the 1st. It is call a run of commitment or promise or resolutions. We gather with some other runners (this year due to we-all-know-what there were over 50 spots on maps of Moscow, on average there were 15 people on a run so it was easy to keep the distance), write on number plate without an actual number and run for as many meters as the new year. It actually works, well, mostly. I always write something about basement but we haven't yet did up will our desires yet. May be 2021 will make it different for my basement. My resolution trick is to write things I want to achieve but I can work on. So if I want to do something I want to move forward to completing it, even if I couldn't make it in the end, I can see how much I improved or moved forward. It makes me happy as well. I don't think I will be very active this week forward but I will try to show my face a little more online.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  5. Keeping a list of goals is a great way to stay on top of working towards them, even if you only make a list on the new year. Good luck on the basement, you'll get it done!

  6. Yes! I'm the same way, I don't want to make resolutions that I won't keep, but work towards something to make me feel like I've accomplished something.

  18. Happy New Year! I had to convert 2021 meters into miles because it seemed like a lot for this non-runner (bad knees). But it wasn't too bad once I saw the numbers LOL I am glad you all had a good time! Again, Happy New year!

  30. Happy new year, Lyosha! I hope 2021 is amazing for you and your husband. My new year was far less exciting than yours. I spent it at home in my pajamas with my cat. Lol. But I did get to go outside and see some fireworks nearby, and I really enjoyed that. I am excited to see what this year brings for all of us.

  31. Happy New Year! I love this tradition, it's such a fun way to kick off the year on a positive note. We always go for our 'first day hike' where we pick a random local trail to hike with the pups. Getting out with nature has been a major source of peace and tranquility for my husband and I, so it allows us to start the year with the right mindset.

Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint  Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy! As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). I love them for their shape - keeping me cool during hot and warm when needed. Oh, and can I also call it my pijama pants trend pants? or not? What I also wanted to mention you are my fab set jewel

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda

МКММ + Couture Fashion Show

So! I am so very excited! I have visited my first real actual fashion show ever since March and I couldn’t ever be happier. It’s just wow! This time I visited MKMM final shows merged with Couture Fashion Show later that night. I had a chance to see many wonderful shows by young and talented designers and enjoyed it a lot. Creativity everywhere. Something is purely catwalk (and I totally don’t mind it at all), something that is very easy to imagine rushing the streets, something very creative and futuristic and making a statement with so much in between. Overall in love. I don’t think I really can be picky because after all those digital shows real made a huge impression on me. It almost as if I am visiting my first ever fashion show but better because I know what to expect. I think you are not reading this and already scrolled past this point and enjoy the contestants. And don’t blame you at all.  RU: Прекрасные новости! Мой первый настоящий офлайн показ с марта месяца. И он оказася пр
