Ryazan getaway

I don't normally do that but.. last week I've been on a weekend getaway with my friends. We didn't have much time and finances so we picked something nearby. We took train to Ryazan and had a total blast. It is an old city. once very major and a capital of Ryazan duchy during the feudal times. It once was a border town during the Genghis Khan Mongol raids. Its history dates back to 1095 so there is a lot to learn. Now it's in top 20 biggest Russian cities and has a lot to offer to tourist. From historic Kremlin and Churches to ruined USSR heritage and modern funny statues on famous saying ('Even mushrooms have eyes in Ryazan' which goes back to borderline days) and soviet movies. It was a little vacation filled with so much joy I couldn't help but share with you. It was a tiny bit cold there but it was so worth it! I can't help and want to show you the trip.

And the sights:

I started with actual 'face' or Ryazan and ended with something fascinating but scary. Ryazan is definitely a great example of what Russia actually is. No wonder when Russian people say 'Ryazan face' they mean medium Russian face and soul. A land of contrast where shiny and fine meets ruined and outdated.

Have a nice day,
Lyosha

  19. Beautiful pictures Lyosha. Ryazan has such a calm look about it. Russia is in my plan soon although I have passed through twice without visiting. I realize there there is so much more than Moscow & St. Petersburg to explore.

Explore Starcon

I'm going to brake up vacation post series to share the Starcon experience. A week ago I was sitting on the same spot and getting ready to go. We've been to lovely Saint  Petersburgh. We managed to have a charming walk in the  evening even right after the con. Starcon was all about sci-fi and we loved it so much. We even wore the Jedi costumes (wait for them in the end of post). Max, my lovely husband, sewed them for only 3 days (that's why the design is so simple). and I also got 2d place in Star Wars Miniatures board game tournament took place there. I'm so happy! As for outfit - I've chosen a super comfy outfit with a very cool pants! I bought them on ebay and they are more than 20 year old pants (I guess soon they could buy booze on their own but I doubt I need it). I love them for their shape - keeping me cool during hot and warm when needed. Oh, and can I also call it my pijama pants trend pants? or not? What I also wanted to mention you are my fab set jewel

Say 'yes' to a dress with Yesbabyonline

When you start on inspiration posts it hard to spot. At least for me. I feel like I am half awake in my bed, feeling super lazy and have to strict plans for the morning so I am hitting the 'snooze' button. I almost hear myself saying 'five more minutes' and I do mean five more minutes but I fail and hit 'show me more' button. Inspiration from online shops devour me. Yes it is budget friendly (you don't need to buy things even though you do want to) but it is not safe for your time. I can't really say I am against it, it is a good to relax and is also useful if you need to wait for your partner to finish some stuff to do. This evening it works especially well because I am waiting for my husband to finish the page. I am more or less limited by time so my online inspiration will be most pleasing. As always I wanted to set up a topic to make it even better. My topic for today is long formal dresses . Out of tons of online shop I picked the best for me toda

МКММ + Couture Fashion Show

So! I am so very excited! I have visited my first real actual fashion show ever since March and I couldn’t ever be happier. It’s just wow! This time I visited MKMM final shows merged with Couture Fashion Show later that night. I had a chance to see many wonderful shows by young and talented designers and enjoyed it a lot. Creativity everywhere. Something is purely catwalk (and I totally don’t mind it at all), something that is very easy to imagine rushing the streets, something very creative and futuristic and making a statement with so much in between. Overall in love. I don’t think I really can be picky because after all those digital shows real made a huge impression on me. It almost as if I am visiting my first ever fashion show but better because I know what to expect. I think you are not reading this and already scrolled past this point and enjoy the contestants. And don’t blame you at all.  RU: Прекрасные новости! Мой первый настоящий офлайн показ с марта месяца. И он оказася пр
